The House at High Falls

Nestled on the Paupack High Falls River Gorge banks, The House at High Falls is charming and perfectly located upstream from the Ledges Hotel and the Hawley Silk Mill. A private staircase adjoins this property to the Hawley Silk Mill, making it an excitable walk to Cocoon Coffee House, The Shops at Hawley Silk Mill, and Lake Region Fitness, complimentary for house guests.

As you walk into the home, you will be pleased by the bright and open concept of the main living space. The kitchen is gourmet with high-end finishes, including a center island stovetop, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and counter seating. Concierge services are available to retrieve groceries for you. Off the kitchen sits an open dining room with seating for eight and a breakfast room for all to gather and feast. As a guest of the home, you will have dining privileges at The Settlers Inn, Ledges Hotel and The Dock on Wallenpaupack.

A seasonal screened-in room plus an outdoor deck with views of the river gorge are the perfect spots to relax in the morning with a good cup of coffee. The deck also serves as a nighttime meeting spot with a gas fire pit and grill.

Back inside, the living room offers more beautiful views, a gas fireplace, and large flat-screen television. The comfortable sectional pulls out into a queen-sized sofa bed for additional convenience. A sliding barn door creates perfect privacy along with a private entrance and a half bath.

Graciously sleeping ten, two of the four bedrooms each have a private bath; the second and third bedrooms on the lower level share a full bath. There is a master suite with a two-sided fireplace on the ground floor that creates a warm ambiance in both the bedroom and from the two-person whirlpool tub in the en suite. This bathroom also has a walk-in rain head shower and body jets. Also included in the master suite is a walk-in closet and sliding glass doors that take you out to a private terrace with tranquil views of the river gorge. Also located on the ground floor are bedrooms two and three which are connected jack-and-jill style through a shared full bath. Each has a queen bed and windows facing the river. The last bedroom sits on the spacious second-floor loft with a queen-size bed, skylight, and a full bathroom.
