Cooperstown Nordic Farmhouse

Built in 2017 in the tiny and charming hamlet of Fly Creek, this bright and airy home offers a refreshing blend of farmhouse charm with modern, Scandinavian design for those seeking a peaceful, elegant retreat. Sweeping cathedral ceilings, massive picture windows, and three outdoor decks invite you to lounge, dine, and take in the gorgeous scenery.

This home sleeps six adults in full comfort.

On the upper level, two queen bedrooms share a full bath and wonderful high views of the surrounding farmland and creeks.

On the main floor, the large master bedroom offers a third queen bed, additional full bath, a sun-drenched reading nook, and private flat-screen television.

A fully-finished basement level offers a large work space, additional large-screen television, and third full bath along with washer and dryer.

Entertain and relax in high style. Enjoy a sun-filled floor plan with an open living-dining area that includes a 9-foot, black walnut dining bar, a fully-stocked kitchen with gas cooktop, ample prep space, and modern appliances.

Quietly bespoke, the home offers lovely design details: striking tile work, European fixtures, high-quality linens and heated towel racks; custom and vintage furnishings plus original artwork throughout the house; and high-end entertainment features with fast and reliable WiFi, Sonos speakers, and Smart TV service with all major streaming channels.

Located in the historic and charming hamlet of Fly Creek, the Nordic Farmhouse is just a few minutes away from downtown Cooperstown with many local attractions: its vivid and beautifully conserved colonial architecture, the grand Otesaga Hotel, the esteemed Fenimore and Farmers' Museums, and the Baseball Hall of Fame. A bit farther out, try our beloved local breweries like Ommegang and the Red Shed, or drop in at the Pail Shop Winery just a few miles away.

This is an area of lovely and peaceful countryside, with rolling hills dotted by dairy farms and wildflowers for miles and miles. Great for biking enthusiasts, wine and beer aficionados, hikers, and lovers of water sports. Sparkling, unspoiled Lake Otsego is not to be missed! A wonderful place to relax, unwind, and let the days unfold.

Autumn Heaven

Our stay at the Cooperstown Nordic Farmhouse was a lovely week of country roads, hikes, golf, and farm and cider mill visits. This is the quintessential New England Farm experience--only in New York. The house is comfortable and cozy. The hosts, Lisa and her sister Tracy, made us feel right at home. Cooperstown is a quick drive and offers fun shops and eateries. Within and hour or more you are in the Catskills or the Adirondacks. Lovely place. ”
