South Africa is one of the most exotic, sought-after, yet affordable destinations to explore. Join the ranks of discerning adventurers to discover the beautiful landscapes and authentic experiences first-hand that this country on the tip of Africa has to offer.

The Blue House is a striking modern home and is situated on the rocks next to Bikini Beach, the smaller of two beaches in Gordon's Bay; Sunset Beach being the other beach.

Gordon’s Bay is a picturesque seaside town in Cape Town. Centrally located in the municipality of Cape Town. Gordon´s Bay boasts two working harbours, which can both be viewed from the home. The house was designed to complement the dynamic view of the rear of Table Mountain, the Atlantic Ocean, fiery sunsets and the bustling “Dolosse” harbour wall of the Old Harbour.

The Blue House offers superior entertainment areas, four en-suite bedrooms, two swimming pools and a large garden. The property has two access points. One pedestrian gate which is accessed from Beach Road, the address is 187 Beach Road. The main entrance (for vehicles and deliveries) is accessed from 30 Faure Street. The property has a generator and solar panels to assist when there are scheduled power outages.

This modern high-end home is beautifully decorated with splashes of colour, exquisite finishes and a clean modern style. The villa offers spacious and bright rooms, letting in natural light and adding charm and comfort to the property. The owner’s art collection will bring much joy and contemplation.

The incomparable and always changing views that The Blue House unveils will delight you – from dolphins, to a seal hunting octopus, jetski antics or the local Naval College staging a rescue mission. Every sunrise brings a new vista to enjoy.
The property's proximity to the cities of Stellenbosch, Hermanus and Cape Town offers guests a wide and varied choice of activities to do and places to visit.

From visiting the vineyards or birdying a golf course to discovering the local gastronomy and culture or roadtripping the most beautiful coastal drive in the world -Clarence Drive. Hiking trails, deep-sea fishing, scuba diving and mountain bike trails are all on your doorstep.

So, don't think twice. Book your African adventure today and stay in dream-like luxury at The Blue House.

The main bedroom – (bedroom 5), en suite and dressing room is private and not available for use.

Midnight Magic !

This home was magical in every way. There were only 4 of us - two couples and one of the couples decided to elope during out stay and tied the knot three days later. We laughed that the Midnight Blue House and Gordan's Bay cast a spell on them. The house is incredible with fabulous furnishings, collectors's art and an amazing staff. The views were over the top from sunrise to sunset and the beach is a short walk. The owners were so very kind and hospitable and the housekeeper so kind and made the trip a delight. Thank you Winnie - we will be back! xo”

A wonderful modern house directly on the Gordon Bay waters.

My husband and myself stayed with 6 friends in this very modern style villa. We felt very safe, we enjoyed Cora our daily princess , we found privacy for each of us when we needed it and we took long moments to admire the artworks all over. The area is calm, but with delicious restaurants. We visited many places of Cape Town and the wineries of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl. Golf courses everywhere made my husband very happy. We definitely would like to come back. Thanks to you Winnie!”

This property is absolutely jaw dropping, beautifully designed and featured in architectural magazines.

The pictures do not do it justice. You enter through the garage and as you round the corner to the kitchen it has a million dollar view of False Bay. We arrived at night and the lights of Cape Town (just across the bay) and surrounding areas were gorgeous. The property is located in Gordon’s Bay, a small town that provides several options for restaurants without going too far. We did not have good luck with all the options but standout recommendations are: Idiom (wine tasting and fabulous food) and De Brassarie in Strand across from main beach (reservations for outdoor seating is recommended). There are several outdoor sitting areas, two pools, and exercise equipment – we enjoyed hanging out on the patio just outside the kitchen. The wall between the kitchen and the outdoor area can be completely opened up by folding the glass panels (accordion style) which makes it feel like one huge outdoor area. Located just up the hillside from the water you have a great view to watch the wildlife including seals, schools of fish, and birds (maybe whales if you’re visiting at the right time). The bedrooms were well appointed with comfortable beds and apple tv’s; all of them had views of the ocean (some more than others of course). The house also had a pool table and several couches that were comfy enough to take a nap on – so much room you may not run into anyone else for hours! It has a wine cellar, 007 style hidden in a secret passage from the pool table area that goes under the house – a cave design with rock walls. Winnie, the owner, was very accommodating and a wonderful host! If there was a category for ‘super host’ she would be in it! She arranged for a cheese plate and wine to be ready for us when we arrived (which we devoured after a long day of travel, it was delicious!). She also accommodated us with a late checkout (7 pm!) and offered several complimentary bottles of wine for our stay. I can’t say enough good things about this house, the owner, or the experience we had during our stay! ”
