Welcome to this stunning and luxurious South African retreat at Melozhori Game Reserve. The flagship accommodation offering at Melozhori is a luxurious all-inclusive Lodge. The four en-suite bedrooms boast breathtaking views of the blue-fold mountains in the distance. The living area features a spacious lounge and dining room which opens out onto a viewing deck complete with a rim-flow pool.

The Lodge is offered as an all-inclusive experience. Included in your Key rate are: Accommodation, all meals, local beverages, scheduled safari activities on the reserve including guided game drives and guided or unguided walks.

The lodge’s design reflects the landscape’s hues and textures, offering panoramic views that bring the outside in. Here, indulgence is encouraged, and every moment is curated to ensure your stay is as restful as it is inspiring.

As you walk inside, the gorgeous living space has a vast traditional thatch roof covering the comfortable furnishings and high-end features. A unique fireplace serves as a focal gathering point and is the ideal place for you and your loved ones to gather after a long day of exploration. The glass doors on either side of the fireplace capture your eyes and beckon you onto the timber deck with a rim-flow pool and calming views of the mountains. Below, a fascinating fire pit is a summer evening favourite. You can wrap yourselves in a blanket and sit warmly under a star-filled sky, chatting about the wonders of the day.

Graciously accommodating eight adults and two children, four spacious en-suite bedrooms flow onto private decks overlooking the dam and valley. The surrounding trees attract plenty of natural life to the garden; the early birds will likely enjoy their cup of coffee with views of giraffes and zebras. Each room has plush beds and fresh linens with retreat-like bathrooms for a comfortable place to rinse off the day.

Melozhori Private Game Reserve lies in the picturesque Cape Fold Mountains, adjacent to the small and charming village of Stormsvlei, in the verdant Overberg district of the Western Cape. It is located less than 200km from Cape Town and conveniently halfway to the world-famous Garden Route. Surrounded by undulating hills and mountains, with no other signs of civilization, it feels as though you’re in the most profound “bush” of Africa. The hilly and mountainous topography offers guests excellent vantage points of the 2,300-hectare (nearly 5700 acres) reserve.
