New, modern resort on the Spanish Coast overlooking Mediterranean

My wife and I had a wonderful week at Mar de Pulpi in January. The drive from Almeria along the coast was a beautiful and eye opening start to our week on the southern coast of Spain. On one side of the Andalusia region are the amazing Sierra Morena Mountain Ranges and untouched beautiful national parks and on the other side miles of sandy Mediterranean coastline with charming coastal villages nested into coves with sandy beaches and resorts. Mar de Pulpi is a new resort development in San Juan de Los Terreros, with extremely nice adobe style condominiums. We stayed in the newest phase of the development, the condo was brand new with modern and well appointed amenities. The rooftop terrace was a highlight for the great views, sunrise and sunsets and coastal breeze of the Mediterranean Sea. The resort is beautifully landscaped with many pools, hot tubs and activity areas throughout the property...and of course private sandy beachfront. Within a short stroll to the center of the complex there is a nice grocery store, a number of seaside restaurants and bars. A five minute drive is the local town with a number of restaurants, bars and beaches. We took a day trip to the historic city of Cartagena, about a 1 hr scenic drive. Great place to visit...with amazing historic sites. Our hosts were very professional and friendly- we highly recommend Mar de Pulpi!”

Relaxing experience

We loved this apartment with its very modern vibe and huge roof terrace. The complex was immaculate with great pools and there were some good reasonably priced restaurants on site. Plus the Pulpi Goede is well worth a visit”
