It truly was paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful waterfront property. Each morning, we started our day with a cup of coffee on the dock, watching dolphins glide by in the peaceful waters. In the evenings, we relaxed with a glass of wine while taking in the breathtaking sunsets. The house was clean, comfortable, and inviting, with a wonderful sense of warmth and positive energy throughout. Its location was ideal, offering easy access to everything needed for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. We loved exploring the many nearby restaurants, coffee shops, and local attractions, where we learned about the area's rich history and culture. Most of all, we appreciated the slower pace and charm of Lowcountry life. It truly was paradise, and we look forward to returning again in the future. We would also like to thank the owner for her warm hospitality and kind assistance before, during, and after our stay. Her responsiveness and attention to detail helped make our visit truly memorable.”

Beautiful setting

This is a beautiful place in the low country. House was clean and neat as was yard. Owner gave good communication. Reason for only 4 stars was towels and bedding (including pillows), old and used, there were no hand towels for drying hands in bathrooms, towel's discolored and old, bed sheet had holes in them. Easy upgrade to home. We only used two bedrooms, plenty of room for a family with kids. Super cute bunk room for children. ”

Beautiful Home and Property

Spent a very relaxing week at this wonderful home. Gorgeous sunsets along with birdwatching and dolphin sightings from the dock. Lots of history to explore in the area and super close to Hunting Beach State Park.”

Great Location for a relaxing vacation

I arranged this vacation for family members from the Washington DC area and another party from Athens Georgia. Ourselves coming from the Chicago IL area. The location was good for everyone and the fact that the stay was a Wednesday to a Wednesday over the Memorial Day weekend provided a time for more members to join us for a few days. The view from the house and on the pier was perfect. Our families brought along fishing equipment and the twin 12 year old girls really enjoyed fishing for sharks . Their father made sure all the fish caught were put back unharmed into the water. We never imagined the catching of over 20 fish during our stay. Also seeing dolphins was exciting. Margaret, the owner came over on Saturday to induce herself to us, which I thought was very kind of her. "Dock of the Bay" relaxing

Well-equipped older home with beautiful living-room views and great dock for relaxing. Owner was very accessible and responsive. A much-needed and appreciated get-away for my ER doc and corporate VP daughters and me. A little far from town but made for some fun change of pace day trips to Savanna and State parks. ”

Comfortable and Quiet with amazing sunset over water

We loved our stay at this Low Country Cottage on the water. The home is an old style bungalow with updates and add- ons for plenty of room. Not fancy. But very clean and comfortable with everything that we needed. The location on St Helena Island, just south of historic Beaufort, SC, is only feet from the water with a fishing pier and large yard shaded by a canopy of Spanish moss draped oak trees. There is lots to see and do in the area, but our favorite activity was simply enjoying the peace and quiet and watching light change over the water. The sunsets are truly magical.
