Weekend ski getaway

My husband and I did a long weekend stay at this property in December 2025. The property and one bedroom unit itself was perfect to meet our needs for the stay. The only reason I am not giving this property five stars is that we had some expectation that the Concierge on site would be able to help us throughout her stay, however, they were rather rude and treated us like third-party citizens since we were not the owners. They were not able to help us with transportation, which made getting around between Snowmass and Aspen difficult. We ended up defending the valet gentlemen and were able to set up a house car transport to Aspen for dinner and a concert one of the nights, but the Concierge had told us that we were unable to do that so we had to work some magic on our own. Outside of this one evening we had to walk most places as we had not rented a car with the expectation the house vehicle would be available. Snowmass itself is walkable for restaurants, but if you want to go anywhere anywhere outside of Snowmass or down to Aspen, I would suggest renting a car to guarantee you have a way to get around.”

Enjoyed our Stay

We enjoyed our time at this property but the small bedroom took some getting used to; barely enough room to walk around the bed. After we settled in though, we were fine but the bedroom was much smaller than we have experienced at other properties.. We enjoyed hiking and bicycling nearby, and the beautiful Aspen trees, plus the Aspen area about 10 miles away.”

Beautiful- great location and amenities!

Wonderful all around, but know this unit is not managed by the Viceroy so some basic amenities (like getting robes) are not available (in room dining is available). ”

Snowmass/Aspen

My first visit here. I have been to Colorado dozens of times over the years. This area doesn’t disappoint. The first 2 days were above average in temperature but didn’t stop from being active in outdoor activities. The temperature dropped the last 5 days which made activities even better. I certainly enjoyed our stay & recommend The Viceroy!!”

Perfect for two

We had a great week in Snowmass (and Aspen) with this condo as home base. The bedroom is snug, but the bathroom and living area are quite comfortable. Staff at the Viceroy couldn't have been nicer, and the hot tub(s) are huge - great place to unwind after our daily hikes! ”

Lovely Mountain Stay

Had a great week at the Viceroy in Snowmass. We were there early October, so the ski village was basically shut down but the scenery was beautiful. We were there for fly fishing and R&R and the Viceroy fit the bill! The unit is perfect for two people but probably a little tight for more than that.”

Amazing Family Stay in Snowmass!

This was our second year staying at the Viceroy and we love it! Our younger son can head right out onto the slopes while the rest of us get ready in the morning - it's that convenient! And the lounge and restaurant and ski valet offer a great experience! They shuttle you to/from the aiport and around Snowmass so you don't need a car. Mahalo for an amazing week!”

EXTRAORDINARY!

THIS WAS A GREAT CONDO IN A GREAT HOTEL, IN A GREAT LOCATION! THE SKI VALET SET-UP WAS FANTASTIC! THE MOUNTAIN-SNOWMASS IS RIGHT OUTSIDE YOU DOOR. THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL. WE DIDN'T LIKE THE TORO RESTARAUNT-PLUS THEY TOOK A $100 GUARENTEE AND YOU HAD TO CX BY 4 DAYS BEFORE YOUR DATE. DON'T GO THERE. BUT-THE CONDO WAS GREAT. THE BED WAS COMFY, LOT'S OF TOWELS AND A GREAT VIEW. THE VALET WILL TAKE YOU ANYWHERE-WE WENT GROCERY SHOPPING, OUT TO DINNER, ETC. IT'S AN EASY WALK OVER TO THE MAIN VILLAGE, TOO. BASICALLY A GREAT COZY PLACE IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYTHING SNOWMASS HAS TO OFFER, ESP. THE SKIING! THIS IS A TRUE SKI IN/OUT LOCATION!”

Snowmass ski Getaway

Good location in Snowmass. They are building a new hotel section blocking the views from the hotel to the mountain, but the condo was nice and comfortable. We had everything we needed for a great stay.”

The location is good, although there was construction going on in front of the hotel. The unit is well stocked but tiny. There were only 2 of us and we felt cramped. Other than that it was fine.”

Wonderful ski week!

We booked a last minute week at this Viceroy property and it was wonderful! The property is ski in, ski out off Assay Hill, the staff is great and the hot tubs are awesome. We are a family of four with two teenage boys who shared the sofa bed- it was a little tight but we made it work. The fireplace is a nice touch! The hosts were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. ”
