August 2024Perfect place to explore Umbria and Tuscany
Place is amazingly well located and host made us feel at home. Property is beautiful, week maintained , comfortable and well equipped. We couldn’t ask for more. Perfect spot for large groups or family gatherings willing to explore Umbria and Tuscany regions. ”

May 2024Beautifully restored and equipped Villa in supreme location - ideal for large groups
We were a group of 12 celebrating a big birthday in this beautiful Villa, in May. It is large and very well set up and equipped, with eight good big bedrooms each with a bathroom. The pool is a real drawcard, for those not spending their days exploring the spectacular local villages. Suzette has a wonderful staff, including Cinzia who was kind enough to collect us from the train when our pickup plans failed. The house truly has everything you need if you choose to stay in and cook- four or five different coffee options, a full range of herbs and spices, oils and vinegars etc. Suzette helped us arrange two catered dinners - her choices of caterers and menus couldn't have been better. The weather was not too hot when we were there, but I think the house would be cool even in mid-summer as it has thick walls and is built for the climate. There are many little quiet outside spaces to escape, read and relax, and a large communal outdoor area for gathering and dining. Truly the best possible option for a group to gather and explore Umbria and Tuscany. ”

January 2024A bucolique retreat
We had such a great time at the Villa San Lorenzo. We visited Montepulciano, with a stop at caffe Poliziano ( a must!), the Castello di Reschio which is on the other side of the Lago Trasimeno, beautiful Perugia and the Castiglione del Lago area. In the evenings we made a nice fire in the cosmic fireplace and reflected the day over a glass of Italian wine, before having a good night sleep in cosy and comfortable beds. Unfortunately we had to leave to stunning rolling fields because we are lucky enough to spend one month in Italy. Thank you Suzette for having us. Michael & Barbara”
