Description

This property is perfect for a getaway in a charming European city full of culture, history, and things to do.

This heritage registered apartment in the centre of Rotterdam has two bedrooms and offers excellent views of the city's impressive skyline. Of Rotterdam's striking features, the architecture is perhaps the most impressive. Almost no two buildings are the same, but it has not always been like that.

Rotterdam, the second largest city in the Netherlands, looks nothing like the other Dutch cities.

This appearance change resulted from the bombing during the Second World War. Instead of rebuilding a copy of the city, it was decided to build a new, modern city - something Rotterdam did with great enthusiasm. Everything - from the swan-shaped Erasmus Bridge to the imposing high-rise buildings.

During your stay you will be able to visit not only the city of Rotterdam but also travel through the most outstanding points of the Netherlands, thanks to the excellent transport system and efficient roads, you will be able to literally reach almost any point in the country, with a relatively short distance by car.

Take this opportunity to visit some of the Netherlands' top attractions, like the great cities of Amsterdam, Haarlem, and The Hague, all reachable in 1-hour drive.

If you dream about the dutch tulip fields, the best place to go to enjoy the tulips in the Netherlands is called the Bollenstreek, or bulb region, which says it all! The Bollenstreek is an area between Leiden, The Hague, and Haarlem.

The road is a delight, and you will see the beautiful dutch landscape with charming little villages and bucolic windmills!

Rotterdam apartment

The apartment was very clean and well furnished and included everything we needed for a comfortable time. The apartment is only half a block from a tram station and about 6 blocks from the train station. We enjoyed our stay very much and the owners were very friendly and helpful.”

Netherland adventure

Our stay in Rotterdam was just what we had hoped to experience. The apartment was spacious and in a great location for downtown activities or to catch a train to Amsterdam, Delft, or Antwerp as we did during our stay. Our hosts were fantastic and willing to suggest many experiences that enhanced our stay. Glad we got to experience this part of our history directly.”

A very special city

Thank you Anco for the warm welcome to your city and the lovely treats left in the fridge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved being so central. We arrived by train from Amsterdam and were easily able to walk to the apartments. The local shops and restaurants were great and we were recommended to a pop up fish restaurant on the port. So our stay was full of adventure because the local people are so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and of course everyone speaks English fluently- including the riverboat taxi driver who whizzed us around the river and knows his city well. Thanks you again Arco for letting us stay. You and your city are fabulous.”
