September 2023Gorgeous home
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The hosts met us at the property and were very gracious and welcoming, even though our flight was delayed. The town is quite charming with many nice restaurants. If you are traveling here just be advised that you need a debit card or lots of euros. Some restaurants take credit cards but you need debit for grocery stores, pharmacies and even parking.”

June 2023The Orchis is an amazing and beautiful Dutch Orchid
First of all, Sjors and Ilze are wonderful hosts. They met us at the Orchis and went over all of the great features of their incredible home. The home is ultra modern with beautiful landscaping overlooking a neighborhood pond. The geese visited us every day and kept us company on the afternoons we made it into the pool. The town of Oostvoorne is very close. So convenient to the grocery store and plenty of restaurants. The eBikes at the house were perfect for going into town and even over to the beach. Lots of great trails to hike or bike. We used the Orchis as our hub for exploring Amsterdam, The Hague, Brugge and Brussels. That said, just staying in the area around Oostvoorne would have been and amazing and relaxing experience. Thank you Sjors and Ilse for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home in The Netherlands.”

May 2023Architectural Digest in a Perfect Spot
We were impressed with the meticulous detail and design. The house is perfectly situated by a serene pond and the landscape design is stunning. Most impressive is how the design of the gardens and the house allow one to feel they are in the gardens whether inside or out of the building. The geographical location of the home is ideal. The countryside is lovely and the beaches were wide and welcoming. We were able to easily visit Amsterdam, Haarlem, Keukenhof, The Hague, Leiden, Delft, Rotterdam and Brugge. The hosts are kind, caring and delightful.”
