Description

Villa Gialonia is a newly-constructed building in the traditional style of Salento. The lime and stone are a perfect combination of the comfort of modern hospitality and the respect for the typical techniques. Set in the countryside of the splendid sea of Pescoluse and far from chaotic nightlife, it enjoys a strategic position permitting a holiday oriented towards pure relaxation without renouncing the coast's entertainment and possibilities.

The property has two floors. The rooms are full of character with a touch of eclectic modern, characterized by star vaulted ceilings. There is a living area with large windows that allow you to enjoy a fantastic view of the sea and pool, and from where you continue to the kitchen that has a door facing the patio, ideal for breakfast or little snacks. The cleverly-lit hallway leads to the sleeping area with four double bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms with showers. There is also a half bath along the hallway.

Bedrooms are decorated in colorful Mediterranean style, with plenty of accessories and vintage and stylish pieces. A laundry room and an area with a double sofa bed are located in the basement with access from the outside.

The Mediterranean-style private garden covers about 3,000 sq m of green lawn interspersed with red earth, succulents, herbs, and rocks. There are numerous elegantly furnished areas where guests can relax and dine outdoors, especially the patio facing the pool, set up as an outdoor dining and living space, as well as the splendid barbecue area in typical local stone. Also gorgeous is the swimming pool in stone with a pergola for dining in pure Mediterranean style.

The rectangular swimming pool can easily be reached from the patio, and the sunbathing area is equipped with a gazebo, chaise longue, small tables, and a cold-water shower.

***from November to March the pool will not be able to be used***

Beautiful New House in Puglia

Our family of four had a fantastic Christmas time at this beautiful new house at the very south of Puglia. There were four bedrooms with four en-suite bathrooms and a powder room. The house was very clean and ready for us. The communication with the owner and the property manager was very easy. They welcomed us with a bottle of Prosecco and panettone. The house is within 5 minutes of a great supermarket. It is within 10 minutes from the villa with a fantastic local restaurant where we had a Christmas feast arranged by the property manager. We drove an hour everyday towards different towns in Puglia and got to see the natural beauty of the region and warmth of its people. It was an incredible experience.”

Great Family Trip!

We have a lovely time in Puglia Italy. The region is amazing. The house is well equipped and the host is splendid. They organized every details for us. From a private chef dinner to a beautiful boat ride. It was a great space and beautiful area to visit. ”

Puglia Perfection

The house is really beautiful and the setting is stunning. We went in March and it is definitely the off season so the town of Pescoluse was a bit deserted and finding open restaurants was a little bit of a challenge, but we had a wonderful time, and enjoyed being the only Americans and often the only English speakers around. We rode our electric bikes all over Puglia on the back lanes though olive groves, old stone farmhouses and beautiful towns each with a historic center that had narrow winding streets (barely a car's width) and century old churches and castles. It was a great way to spend the days in March and always so lovely to come home to the beautiful villa. In the summer it must be a perfect spot with its rural setting, beautiful pool and veranda and a short ride to the big sandy beaches (a rarity in Italy). Aslessia, the property manager, was so lovely and helpful. The home is a great base from which to see Puglia!”
