Highlands Hideaway is a newly remodeled three-bedroom, two-bathroom home just three minutes from Main Street Highlands - The "postcard" downtown that offers plenty of art galleries, antique stores, and upscale boutiques.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the large back deck overlooking the private yard. In the evening, gather around the fire pit and roast some S’mores with the kids while they play badminton. This is the perfect place to unplug and unwind!

This easy-living property has several seating areas for relaxation and the open living/dining/kitchen floor plan allows you and your guests to mingle easily. The master bedroom has a queen bed with a private bathroom. Guest bedrooms have a shared bath between them and each has a queen bed.

At 4,118 feet above sea level, Highlands is located on the highest plateau of North Carolina’s Appalachian Mountains. In June, 75 degrees is generally as hot as it gets. Abundant rainfall ensures rich flora and fauna. (It’s the self-proclaimed “salamander capital of the world.”) Despite the town’s country club pedigree, hiking is the outdoor activity of choice, followed closely by canoeing, horseback riding, and fly fishing.
