March 2024Fantastic Location
My husband and I had a good experience at this homestay, and it was just the two of us. On the positive side, the location was fantastic—nestled in the heart of nature off the highway, offering serene views and a peaceful ambiance. The home has two nature walks along the river on both ends of the street and is a quick drive to Gleenwood. It's also a great location for day trips to Vail or Aspen. The host was friendly and accommodating, making check-in and check-out a breeze. While the home was tidy, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities, the excessive clutter detracted from its potential charm. The primary suite in the basement stairs is a little tricky, but we are short, so it wasn't too bad once we got the hang of them. Overall, a comfortable home in a great location with a wonderful host, and it has the potential to be a cozy retreat with fewer home decor items. ”

June 2023Everything you Need...
We stayed here with two other couples over the 4th of July. The home was one of the few in this program that looks like it's lived in. The kitchen was fully stocked with things like coffee, spices, condiments, etc. and the laundry was as well. It even had washer dryer on both floors! We really enjoyed the steam shower and didn't have a chance to try out the sauna. It's in a fairly quiet location although not far off the highway for quick access to anywhere you want to go. The host was excellent, answered all of our questions promptly and made some great suggestions for the area. There is a covered front porch which we loved, early morning sun and coffee and then shaded in the afternoon for cocktails. There is also a second deck and large outdoor table that seats six. We would definitely stay there if our travels take us back to that part of the State.”

February 2023Perfect Spot to spend a long weekend!
Steve and his home was perfect! He gave me a whole list of ideas of attractions, restaurants, etc prior to arrival. He checked in with me on our check in date and was quick to respond throughout the weekend. He gave us a killer recommendation for a sledding hill! The home was just what we needed. Cozy, comfortable, everything we needed and more. There was untouched snow in the front and back yard for the kids to play in which was exactly why we came here. The steam shower felt great after a day in the snow. The home is right off the main road for easy access, but tucked just out of town, so nice and quiet. The beds were all very comfortable, the showers had instant hot water, and crisp cold water as well. They left a nice bottle of wine. Great hosts! Glenwood Springs with everything you need was 1 exit away. We loved the Gondola ride to the top of the mountain and the alpine coaster were great. We did the cavern tour as well. Endless things to do in this quiet little town. Can't wait to come back in the summer and go fly fishing!”
