The owner and staff were absolutely amazing! Extremely attentive and responsive! The staff went over and beyond expectations! My only suggestion for improvement is to improve the directions to the house for foreigners who are not familiar with the area. In the directions it would be helpful to include the approximate km and translate into miles. Also, include photographs for landmarks. The online photographs of the property do not do it justice - MUCH nicer in person! The owner is EXTREMELY resourceful with recommendations on tours, restaurants, and local vendors! I am looking forward to rebooking with another group of friends!”

March 2023Great Oceanfront experience
Owner is every responsive. Sunset is awesome. Walk to beach is fantastic. Pool is clean. WiFi is limited in bedroom. Security is good. Hard to find on first day. Driving to property is challenging. No one speaks English around. Restaurants serve similar food with no one speaks English. No activities around. All local resort cannot be accessed. ”

March 2023Paradise in Paradise
House Castanhola is a dream house. I spent a week there with 4 other family members. The house has everything and more. We enjoyed cooking fresh fish from the local markets in the outdoor bbq grill, as well as the high-end pizza oven. We enjoyed jumping in the pool after spending time in the ocean. The house offers kayaks, which is where we spent most of our time. Every day we kayaked to the reefs to experience the marine life. The water was very clear and warm - don't forget to bring your snorkels. Lucio and his staff were very warm and always answered all of our questions promptly. I would happily come back to Casa Castanhola anytime. ”
