Tiki Themed Fun Canal-front Home with 75' Fishing & Boat Dock

Recently remodeled, this brightly colored canal-front home was designed with fun in mind! You will have boat docking, fishing and bird watching opportunities right in the back yard, and you will be within a few miles of scenic downtown Rockport, the award winning Rockport Beach, excellent restaurants, scrumptious seafood, HEB grocery stores, coastal shopping, bars & wine tasting, festivals, premiere art events, air- boat, fishing boat & bird hunting boat rentals, fishing guides, hunting guides and more.

You will fall in love with the smiling Tiki coastal decor & palm tree accents. The freshly painted interiors, newly tiled bathrooms, comfortable furniture (including five spacious living room recliners), lots of windows, plus pretty beach decor inside and out make this a truly enjoyable escape.

Enter the sparkling clean house via either the steps on the right side, or via the left side's comfortable access ramp, through the single Yellow door on the right side, walk into the kitchen to the pretty sunset mural accented by colorful Tiki masks, with custom-built bamboo bar & cedar details. This is a perfect selfie spot in front of #JD's Palm Tiki sunset mural! The open kitchen features a characterful bamboo-Tiki-themed granite bar, perfect for any meal, a refreshing drink or a casual snack. The chef will appreciate ample counter space, with coffee or drip coffee makers, aqua colored retro microwave and toaster, a sharpening knife block, blender, toaster, panini press, bean-grinder, crockpot, and all the tools needed to whip up a feast. Snacks, coffee pods, and creamers are provided to successfully start your trip, along with hand soaps, dish soaps, and fresh linens for each room!

Check out the hallway, which features a detailed nautical map of the Aransas area, and memories of other's exciting times in the house.

To the right is the comfortable dining area for six, and just adjacent is a relaxing seating area with plenty of room on the 5 recliners & couch, plus a streaming-capable flatscreen TV with soundbar. But first, grab a frosty beverage to head out to your wrap around porches, or your 75-foot-wide, canal-front dock, complete with a fish-cleaning hut, to watch the pelicans, blue herons, white cranes, jumping fish, and elegant dolphins as you fish or just relax.

Back inside, entertainment options include kid’s games, toys, board games, and books to enjoy. At bedtime, each of the three bedrooms (Master has a Sleep Number King, plus a fold out double sleeper, in a Jumanji-themed main suite with a TV; Queen, with an ensuite bath/shower, and Queen, with a separate shower/tub) offer a restful sleep, after you get enough time out on that peaceful deck.

If you want to see fantastic sunrises, grab your coffee early and watch the canal change sunrise colors as the pelicans, blue herons and white cranes skim through the canal; you may be lucky to have one land close to you!

Winter, Spring and Fall have mild temperatures, Summer heats up like a beach town should for fun fishing, shopping, and adventure. The house has 2 separate air conditioning systems to keep you very comfortable during your stay.

Dock details: There is a private lighted 75-foot dock with cleats to tie your boat, a lighted fish cleaning hut with water, and fishing rod holders. Closest access to launch your boat is at Paradise Cove Marina, a short 5 minutes by car and 10-15 minutes by boat. Just depends how fast you want to run your boat when you're relaxing!
