The beauty of the town has inspired plenty of writers and poets over the years; several museums in Fontaine de Vaucluse showcase the history and culture of the area and its surrounds.

This Provençal town offers visitors a variety of terraces and restaurants that line both sides of the River Sorgue in the heart of town. Enjoying themselves in the local gastronomy is a must-do for gourmands!

This charming and comfortable farmhouse has a long history, dating back to 1706. It has been carefully restored and prepared to welcome and delight guests. Perfect for a group of families (we had 20 people total)

We had a lovely week in July at this home situated in the heart of Luberon. It was a 20 minute drive from a dozen of the most beautiful villages https://www.lelongweekend.com/most-beautiful-villages-of-provence-france-a-locals-guide/. We also hit Arles, Avignon, and the Notre Dame Abbaye. Since we had 20 folks, we ate most dinners at the home where there is ample room. We hung out by the pool most afternoons. There are excellent vineyards and Michelin star restaurants nearby. We spent the next week down in Cannes which is a few hours away. We hope to return to Mas de Shogol some day. David & Kristin”

Wonderful property, location and host

Our group of eight thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this this 300+ year old French farmhouse which has been modernized while retaining all of its rustic charm. We entered through the private gate to find the refrigerator stocked with many items, totally unexpected and most appreciated. Attached to the the main house (with its seven bedrooms including a three bedroom apartment) is a separate wing with three bedrooms which allows privacy for several families or couples. Each room has an en suite bathroom and air conditioning. The house has thick sone walls so even on a few days when the temperatures approached 90 degrees the public rooms in the house remained comfortable with the doors and windows closed. There are many seating areas on the property and we often enjoyed lunch out the front under the two glorious shade trees. You could not ask for a better Provencal location, less than one mile from a boulangerie/patisserie and surrounded by numerous hilltop villages and wineries, all within a 10-40 minute drive. The pool area is gorgeous and was used every day at the end of June. The host Sarah and property manager Angelique were so helpful with recommendations of local attractions, wineries, and restaurants; there is even a suggested seven day itinerary to enjoy all the area has to offer. Angelique was always available and immediately responsive to any questions or requests. So much room and so much charm, highly recommended. Magnifique! ”
