September 2023Wonderful Holiday!
It’s really not possible to write any sort of meaningful review without acknowledging that there is currently a new villa being constructed on the border of the property. Noise, at times, needs to be reckoned with. However, the owner waived the pool heating fee in recognition of any potential disturbance. The villa is very well set up for large families with children. The pool area is very nice with an unusual amount of seating and plenty of games for children and adults. There was a BBQ area which we didn’t use, but looked great. The views are very pleasant. The kitchen also looked very well equipped, although again we only used it for coffee and cold drinks. The boiling water tap was very convenient and the food left for us in the fridge was a much appreciated gesture. It was also very helpful that we were able to drop our bags off as soon as we arrived (we had a very early flight). This effectively gained us a whole day which was great. It should be noted that there is no air conditioning and no external sun blinds on the glass fronted living room so Internal temperatures get quite high. Fans are provided however. The villa is set above Costa Adeja which has some impressive hotels and some excellent restaurants, the stand out being the 2 Michelin starred El Rincon de Juan Carlos. Highly recommended and excellent value. The Sky Bar in the Victoria Hotel was also noteworthy. We had a great holiday and really enjoyed the area. The construction noise was a bit of a shame. The solution is simple, however, we shall just have to go back for a return visit! ”
