Perfect Retreat

This home is perfect for a big family gathering. The home was inviting and the home setup is very user friendly. The kitchen is large and well equipped with most items you will need for your stay. The home has 4 useable bedrooms plus 3 bathrooms which accommodated our family get together of 8. There are many areas in the home to retreat to when you just want some down or quiet time as well. The home has a perfect view, fenced area with hot tub and a beautiful pool which overlooks the river. Great laundry room for longer stays is very helpful so that you can pack less for your trip. We stayed during Christmas time. We did have to figure out the thermostat because it was set on a schedule which was on the cool side. It is a high ceiling home so it took awhile to heat. We suggest that you AI/Google the thermostat and see how to remove the scheduled settings for the time that you are there. It's not hard, just a little tricky the first time. The home was decorated with a Christmas tree when we entered and that made our stay even that much better. It was nice that an owner cared enough to focus on the "little" things, which mattered a lot to us. Would definitely recommend and will try to stay there again, maybe in the summer to use the pool. Prettier than the pictures!

We had a wonderful family spring break at the River View Retreat. It was still cold in Chelan in April, but the house is warm and inviting, and prettier than the photos. The owner was very accommodating. Just be aware that there are only two and a half bathrooms, with no shower or tub for the downstairs spare bedroom. If you need the fourth bedroom, they will have to use the master bedroom shower, or go upstairs to share the single upstairs shower with two other bedrooms. Not a problem for a multigenerational family, but might be for a different traveling group.”
