An elegant retreat in one of Sydney’s most charming enclaves

We were two couples and spent a thoroughly enjoyable week in this beautiful Paddington home. Situated on a quiet, no-through-traffic street, the setting offers a rare sense of calm. Museums and central attractions were easily accessible by Uber, and it was always a pleasure to return to the understated sophistication of the neighborhood. Paddington evokes the feel of London’s Chelsea or Kensington — architecturally distinctive, walkable, and quietly refined. The upstairs primary suite, with its ensuite and private terrace, is particularly lovely — airy, serene, and thoughtfully appointed. The two downstairs bedrooms are more compact, yet they are complemented by a beautifully renovated and generously proportioned bathroom. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area flows seamlessly into a courtyard garden, creating an inviting and harmonious space for relaxing. The quality of the bed linens and towels was excellent, and the home reflects a careful attention to detail — attractive artwork, subtle fragrance from reed diffusers, and a general sense of considered design. It is an easy walk to a neighborhood grocery store, and dinner at nearby Mr. T’s was delicious. The kitchen is also well-equipped for those evenings when we chose to dine in. Altogether, a gracious and thoughtfully curated home — an ideal base from which to experience Sydney. ”

Peaceful Home centrally located!

The Paddo house is located in a quaint historic neighborhood close to shops and restaurants (10 min walk). Surrounded by trees, it’s a quiet reprieve from CBD Sydney. All in all it’s a great stay. I would say the owners could add some more cooking gear (pans/utensils) to allow for those that are looking to cook just a few more options. Overall, however, it’s a wonderful home. ”

Fabulous Paddington Townhouse

We had an excellent stay in Paddington - the house was great. Beautifully furnished with comfortable beds. It was heatwave time so a bit hot but we had fans and air con in the main sitting room. Great location to experience Sydney at Christmas. Thank you to the owners for having us.”
