June 2025Incredible stay!
The hosts were incredibly accommodating and responsive. The house is beautiful, and the neighborhood is absolutely incredible. The amenities were top-notch. If you love the outdoors, you’ll fall in love with this area. Our favorite part was exploring the hiking trails and swimming at the Blue Hole, which is at the end of a beautiful hike. The gym was outstanding, and the views from there were absolutely stunning. The pool area — including the pickleball courts — was beautiful. It was also great having the utility vehicle to further explore the neighborhood. The house had everything we needed, and we would absolutely love to stay there again. We only left the neighborhood once — and it was one time too many. Thank you, McDowells, for everything!”

September 2024Gorgeous home and setting with lots of fun activities
We had an amazing time at Boone Doggle, the Luxury Mountain Home near the Blue Ridge Parkway in South Carolina! The house was very comfortable and luxuriously appointed with stunning mountain views from inside and from the large outdoor decks. The home's amenities like the fireplaces, hot tub, and pool table were great bonuses. Additionally, the neighborhood amenities like the restaurant, gym, bocce court, firepits, sauna, swimming pool, and pickleball court were fabulous; these also had amazing mountain views! The owners were prompt with communication and very thoughtful. We would highly recommend this house for relaxation and fun! ”

What a wonderful place to spend a week! Luxury Mountain Home truly was all that and more. Beautifully decorated and well appointed, it had everything you would need for a memorable stay in the High Country. Lots of hiking, breathtaking views, a fun UTV to ride around in, great area restaurants and quaint shops, and a welcoming community. Our terrific hosts, Mark and Jill, made sure we had everything we needed and gave us wonderful suggestions to enhance our stay. We give them and their lovely home our highest recommendation and our thanks for an outstanding stay! ”
