Enjoy Coastal Carlsbad at its finest in our newly remodeled home, only minutes from the best beaches of Carlsbad. Whether you enjoy surfing, searching for seashells, or just relaxing while listening to the waves, the perfect beach (and Legoland!) is only minutes away. Jump in your car or catch the train to downtown San Diego, La Jolla, or Encinitas. While home, relax in the courtyard or backyard or enjoy one of the pools, spas, or tennis courts.
A private courtyard greets you as you enter the 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath townhouse. The main floor is light and bright and features a spacious family room with a fireplace. A dining area with seating for seven opens to the back patio, a perfect place to enjoy breakfast or an evening meal. Open the patio doors and enjoy the pleasant ocean breeze. The kitchen is fully stocked and includes a dishwasher, microwave, and coffee maker. Relax in the family room as you enjoy cable television or browse the internet with wifi capabilities. The main floor also features a half bathroom.
Upstairs you will find three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed. Enjoy the private balcony overlooking the courtyard below or sit back and watch a show on the flat-screen television. The master bedroom has a private bathroom and a walk-in closet.
The additional bedrooms upstairs are set up to sleep your family and friends. Bedroom 1 has a queen-sized bed while bedroom 2 has a full-over-full bunk.
The additional upstairs bathroom includes a shower/tub combination.
The weather in Carlsbad is nearly perfect year-round. It invites you to spend time outdoors. You will enjoy your time on the private back patio or front courtyard. Treat yourself to a barbecue with the propane grill and delight in the meal on the patio table.
Property Features
Finish a beach day by relaxing in one of the two hot tubs, one featuring ocean views. You can also enjoy a dip in one of the two pools. When you aren't at the beach or enjoying one of the local attractions, you can utilize the tennis courts or basketball courts found on the grounds.
The Location
Carlsbad is an outdoor enthusiast's dream. Whether you enjoy golf, hiking, surfing, cycling or any other outdoor sport, you will find it within minutes of the property. Some of our family's favorite outdoor activities include:
Beach days at Ponto Beach (1.5 miles), Moonlight Beach (5 miles), or Cardiff State Beach (8 miles). Ponto is a great family beach and they allow campfires. Grab the portable fire pit from the garage and enjoy a gorgeous sunset while roasting S'mores. Moonlight beach has great facilities and a playground and provides fun waves for the kids. Cardiff is a fantastic surf beach. The older ones can enjoy surfing the waves while the younger children play in the lagoon. Hit these beaches at low tide and you have an entirely new playground.
Hike the trails at Torrey Pines State Park and enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding hills and coastline while walking the trails of this beautiful park.
When the waves are small, we enjoy paddleboarding and kayaking around the La Jolla Caves. Do this on your own or give Everyday California a try for a group tour.
My wife is a cyclist and she loves all the rides in the area. If you want a longer ride, head up the coast to San Clemente and back. The ride will take you through the Camp Pendleton Marine Base.
If you are a golfer, there are many courses in the area to choose from and those who enjoy shopping can stroll through the outlet mall, only minutes away.
If you enjoy theme parks, LEGOLAND is just a few miles away and a day trip to Disneyland is an hour drive (depending on traffic, of course).
With the best climate in the United States and all these things to do, Carlsbad is no better place to visit.
