Description

Tuscan Retreat | Montepulciano | Tuscany

Montepulciano is a medieval and Renaissance hill town and comune in the Italian province of Siena in southern Tuscany.

Tucked away in a historical hilltop renaissance village, The Tuscan retreat in Montepulciano is a haven of privacy and a luxury elegant stay. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves as far as the eye can see and immersed in a relaxing atmosphere, this exclusive apartment is a complete oasis and the epitome of a Tuscany dream.

Tuscany is one of Italy's most evocative destinations. This region, home to rolling countryside and dotted with antique farmhouses, is famous for being the home of the Renaissance, the beautiful ornate cities of Florence and Siena, and, of course, beautiful art.

But there's one thing Tuscany is famous for above all else – wine. The area is one of the world's most notable wine regions, home to the Montepulciano wine, Sangiovese grape, where world-class DOCG wines such as Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti Classico, and Vernaccia di San Gimignano, to name just a few, hail from.

The vineyards which line the hills are alive with activity and waiting for you to visit and discover more about this beautiful region and its delicious fine wines.

This unique Tuscan Retreat apartment offers the comfort and convenience expected by every traveller in the incomparable setting of the Tuscan countryside. Furnished with carefully curated antiques, local artisan furniture and finds from the owner's travels, this generously sized bedroom apartment best suits a couple on a romantic trip.

Tuscan Retreat

The apartment is beautiful - superb views and everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Communication with both Douglas and Eleanora was seamless and they were both so helpful with advice and information. We hope to return to beautiful Montepulciano one day. Thank you Douglas and Eleanora!”

Staggering views

This bijou apartment in the picture perfect mountain town of Montepulciano is a delight. Feel in the heart of a place that others only get to visit on a day trip. The well laid out apartment is within easy walking distance of a host of restaurants, cafes and visitor attractions. Just wandering the streets of this quaint town deciding where to have the next macchiato or glass of wine was amusement enough for me. We also had great day trip to Etruscan and prehistoric sites which were well worth the trip. Douglas (owner) was super helpful and gave us lots of info to help us on our way. We especially enjoyed our breakfasts on the balcony - with a side dish of breathtaking views ”
