Imagine your own private island: a sweep of bright white sand along the shallows of the Gulf of Mexico. That's Don Pedro Island, a mostly offshore Florida State Park. Don Pedro Island and Palm Island are one of the last non commercialized barrier islands in southwest Florida.

This sun-filled newly renovated getaway features chic but cozy furnishings and decor, an open-concept living area, and stunning ocean views for as far as the eye can see.

You will love the beautiful, fully equipped kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and an eat-in island for three. Sip your morning coffee on the upper deck off the master bedroom and admire the dolphins as they swim by.

After a long day at the beach, you will sleep well in one of two bedrooms. The primary room has a king bed and the guest room has two full-sized beds. There is also a daybed under the staircase that can convert to a full.

The beach, pool and private tennis court are footsteps away from your door.

This hidden gem is found by a 4-minute car passenger ferry ride or private boat. The mode of transportation on the island is typically golf carts which can be reserved prior to your trip. There is one restaurant, bar and small convenient store in Palm Island Resort on the island. Right across on the mainland you can shop for groceries in Placida or Englewood. Boca Grande is only a 20 minute car ride where you will find shops and restaurants.

Most of the land joins some body of water - The Gulf of Mexico, Bocilla Lagoon, Kettle Harbor, Lemon Bay, the Intracoastal Waterway and various canals. Two islands are connected by two small bridges, Knight Island (Palm Island) and Don Pedro Island.
