August 2025Aloha in Kauia
My family had a wonderful time at The Point at Poipu. Kauai is a magical location with huge mountains, vast canyons, and spectacular coastlines. Our two bedroom unit was very comfortable and nicely appointed for cooking and outdoor BBQs. One note is that AC is available only in the bedroom. This was not an issue for any of us. The resort was very nice with a large pool and Tiki style bar and grill. The food and drinks were reasonably priced for Hawaii, and the offerings were large and tasty. Each morning many of us walked out or our rooms to the adjacent beach to watch the sunrise. These were magnificent. A beach for swimming is about a five minute walk along a beautiful pathway.”

Enjoyed our stay. Kauai is such a beautiful island to explore. The condo was comfortable; it's in need of updating which Hilton said they are in the process of doing one building at a time... The shallow entry pool is wonderful for small children. ”

The resort is beautiful and our room had a fantastic view of the pool and the ocean. Amenities were great, there are several BBQ areas. The pool is great and there is a restaurant right on the premises. Parking is free and car is always needed on the island. The hotel rents out beach chairs for the week but we ended up buying two from Walmart and left them there. The resort is located right next to Hyatt Kauai which is my favorite hotel on the island, with several fantastic restaurants and evening entertainment, it’s just a quick walk down the beach. All in all a fantastic place to stay. ”
