Napa Valley Resort Like Home

Welcome to a piece of Napa County Paradise!

This stunning estate is located on 120 acres of property in a gated community with a 4500 square foot main house and a 600 square foot casita. The exterior resort-like features include an infinity pool, a tennis & pickleball court, a bocce court, a children's playground, and an outdoor kitchen and BBQ with some of the best, most expansive views in Napa Valley.

Upon entry, you will be impressed by the gorgeous details, high-end fixtures, and designer furnishings. The entire home has been renovated to showcase the natural beauty that surrounds the property and make all who enter feel at home.

The open-concept great room features vaulted wood beam ceilings, dark wood floors, and bright white walls with windows that reveal peaks of the mountains, vineyards, and Lake Hennessey. The sophisticated yet modern designs are present in the sleek fireplace, mid-century modern furnishings and unique colors and patterns used throughout. The great room is perfect for entertainment with a spacious living room, an open dining room with seating for 12, and the gourmet kitchen with two islands, chef-approved appliances, and a stocked butler's pantry.

Head outside, where you will find the impressive resort-style backyard. The Zero Edge infinity pool provides the ideal spot to cool off after a day of vineyard exploration. While some lounge under the covered patio sipping on an ice-cold drink from the outdoor kitchen, others can play a peaceful game on the lighted bocce courts or a more intense tennis or pickleball match. At the night's end, gather around the outdoor fireplace with a bottle of wine to recount the day.

A media room, many streaming options, and an air hockey table is ready to be the setting for your next family game night, so gather the whole crew and enjoy!

Graciously accommodating 6 people, each bedroom is spacious and inviting.

Check in: 3pm Check out: 10am (unless otherwise agreed on)

Notes:
Our pool is not heated, so we usually use it May to September

Please see driving times to towns below. Our property is in the St Helena hillside wine country, which means the last 1.25 miles are up a windy (well paved and well taken care of) road with a gate for the 7 houses on this hillside of 1500 acres. It's that last mile up the hill that affords some of the best views in the Napa Valley.

Lovely home

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The hosts are very responsive and helpful, the property is in a beautiful, private setting, and the home is quite nice, with a number of amenities — thus my rating, as I think most people would enjoy staying at this property. The kitchen is large and better equipped than the usual vacation home, so if you wanted to stay in some nights and cook, you could definitely do that here (there is no grocery delivery, but you can pick up an order at Whole Foods/grocery store on the way there). For us, the road up and down the mountain to get to the house was a drawback, as we were in town for various wine tastings, dinners, etc., and so were doing a lot of coming and going. If we had been staying up at the house most of the time, it would have been less of an issue. This is a gated, private road with 1 3/4 miles of blind turns, often with a drop off on one side (no guard rail). In most places it is a one lane road. Although there are small pull offs along the way to allow cars to pass, you just have to hope that you are close to one when you meet another car and also hope you see each other in time, given the blind turns. There are no lights at night and frequent deer jumping into the road. You need to drive very slowly and it is still stressful. We met other cars/trucks and experienced deer in the road every day. We were limp with relief whenever we finally made it off the road. Once you make it down, though, you are within a reasonable drive of countless wineries and restaurants. I would not suggest showing up for the first time in the dark, however. The only other pointer I would give other guests is to check with the hosts re availability of certain amenities if you have your heart set on something (e.g., the pool is not heated, and the indoor and outside fireplaces, smoker, and pizza oven were off limits when we were there due to risk of fire — not sure if that varies by season and it did not negatively impact our stay).”

Amazing property!

The hosts were very friendly, communicative and accommodating. Not only was the home exquisite, it was very comfortable and the property was expansive with the most amazing views. It was a treat to stay in this gorgeous area with some of our favorite wineries nearby and wonderful restaurants in the near vicinity. ”
