Wonderful house in the midst of trees and close to Alder Creek Adventure Center

We had a fantastic say here in the sky. This home is well equipped for a large group and the kids / teens can enjoy the lower level with lots of things to do plus their own balcony. The drive to town is 10 minutes so not as convenient as some other Tahoe Donner rentals. We enjoyed renting mountain bikes at Alder Creek Adventure center and using the ski slope trails for mountain biking. This was incredible. The host was very responsive and kind. Note: the decor is exactly as pictured. This is not a modern house.”

Perfect vacation

My family and I stayed for one week in this beautiful house which has everything and beyond you need to be comfortable. The house is surrounded by pine trees and located at the Tahoe Donner resort community. Community has two recreation centers with fitness center and swimming pools. There are several restaurants in the community. There is golf course, tennis and pickleball courts, archery, equestrian club. Donner lake is 10 minute drive. We hiked, did horseback riding, swam in the lake, did river rafting and kayaking. The owners are very nice and friendly. There was a binder with detailed instructions about the house and surrounding. The Perfect Mountain Home

Our family and friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the Labor Day week. It is very restful among the pine trees. Hiking and mountain biking trails were a short walk from the house. We had some great meals in Truckee as it is a 10 minute drive down the hill. The house is well set up for families and friends. The kitchen has pretty much everything needed to prepare meals for a group. The beds were comfortable with ample bedding. Thank you.”
