Description

Beachfront Paradise

This beautiful three-bedroom beachfront house that sleeps eight guests is in a privileged position on the southwest coast of Melbourne. The tiny little town of Lorne is a natural paradise in front of the ocean.

Lorne is a trendy beach tourist resort town on one of the state's most scenic coastal routes, the Great Ocean Road, between Aireys Inlet and Wye River. Cafes and boutiques line the main foreshore thoroughfare of Mountjoy Parade, creating a Mediterranean feel to the area.

Lorne's wide foreshore extends from the shops on Mountjoy Parade to the patrolled sandy beach areas. Further south at Point Grey is the jetty where the annual Lorne Pier to Pub open water swim is held, attracting national interest. Sheltered swimming is available at the mouth of the Erskine River, where a long suspension bridge crosses this waterway and the sandy beach below.

Good views of the area can be enjoyed from Teddys Lookout, at the southern end of George Street. The upper and lower lookouts offer views inland and south along the coast and down to the point where the Great Ocean Road crosses the George River at its mouth. Pictures of the town and its main beach can be experienced from several of the picnic spots along the Great Ocean Road between the Surf Life Saving Club and Point Grey.

The house is very comfortable and perfect for relaxing in an ideal position with friends or family. A fully equipped kitchen with a dining room is ideal for enjoying the delicatessen while admiring the views. A wooden hoven for pizza is set in the back part of the property and can be used.

Living spaces are ample and bright, with large windows allowing plenty of natural light. A decor blend of modern and classical styles and wooden elements creates an elegant and fashionable atmosphere surrounding the property.

The rooms are furnished and tastefully decorated, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay in a modern and minimalist style that fits perfectly with the luminosity and harmony of this property.
