The Blue Wave | Manhattan Beach

The Blue Wave House, situated in downtown Manhattan Beach, California, is a stunning example of modern architecture. Located just one block away from the beach, this three-level vacation rental offers breathtaking views of the whitewater ocean, iconic pier, and Palos Verdes from its top floor. With its prime location, excellent amenities, and comfortable interiors, the Blue Wave House is the perfect place to stay for a memorable getaway. The house is in prime location where most of the best restaurants and shopping is two blocks away.

The house boasts an open floor plan that floods the space with natural light. The entertainment living rooms on the top floor can be fully opened to the viewing deck, which is furnished with outdoor furniture chairs. On this level, guests will find a spacious living area equipped with a new flat-screen Smart TV, Sonos speakers, a modern gas fireplace, and a bathroom with a shower.

A few steps up to the third floor lead to the well-appointed kitchen. It features floor-to-ceiling walnut cabinetry, Italian tile, and a custom blue mined granite island with a breakfast and mini bar. Guests can enjoy their morning coffee while watching the waves from a stainless steel bar-height table with two chairs. The dining room, which comfortably seats six people, includes built-in seating on two sides, and there are four countertop stools on the kitchen island.

The second level of the house accommodates three bedrooms. The Main Bedroom is generously sized and offers a fireplace, shower, luxurious soaking tub, and a walk-in closet. The two Guest Bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and the other with 2 Twin beds, share a bathroom with an extra-large shower located between them. Additionally, on the same level, a few steps up, there is a cozy space known as the guitar bar as well as an additional patio with outdoor furniture. It features a comfortable sofa, a wine refrigerator, and another mini refrigerator.

For outdoor relaxation, guests can spend time on the patio, which features glass doors and a comfortable and stylish wicker egg-shaped chair—the owner's favorite spot to unwind.

The bottom level of the house provides a comfortable living area with a new smart TV, a velvet sectional sofa, and a bathroom with a shower.

Additional features of the Blue Wave House include radiant heated floors controlled by Nest, fans located throughout the house for excellent air circulation, and the ability to open up the house to enjoy cross breezes, as there is no central A/C. Parking space for two cars is available in the garage but SUV need to park in the guest parking space outdoors. Tesla charger is also available for use in the garage as well. The garage houses the washer and dryer.

The garage also contains all the necessary equipment for a day at the beach, such as beach chairs, a foam surfboard, two beach umbrellas, straw beach hats, volleyballs, a rolling ice chest, and plenty of beach blankets and towels.

Additional amenities of the Blue Wave House include an outdoor shower for rinsing off sand, wall-mounted guitars that guests can use (with care to return them to their original position), two vintage cruiser beach bikes (with potential rust due to ocean exposure), a foam surfboard, and a cruiser long skateboard available for use.

Guests also have access to coverups, Turkish towel robes, straw beach bags, beach blankets, and towels provided by the owners' resort wear brands.
