Relaxing, picturesque stay in the Berkshire countryside

To say that this was a wonderfully relaxing, memorable stay is an understatement. Everything about our trip was amazing from the time of booking. Our fantastic host, Sarah, was beyond helpful in answering questions, providing suggestions, and making sure our stay was welcoming, as if we were staying in our own home. She went above and beyond as a host. The home is elegant, yet very comfortable, with high end features and appliances. The bedding was very comfortable, we rediscovered a love for baths, kitchen fully stocked, etc. Sarah helped make sure we could order food in advance and have breakfast ready the morning we arrived. The village in which the house is situated has so much history, walking paths filled with sheep and lambs, close to Newbury, Oxford, and the Cotswolds, and is very centralized for other countryside adventures. Sarah has great taste and suggested several delicious restaurants and fun outings, information on London, and other helpful tips. We were sad that our stay was only a week and wish we could have been there longer. In all honesty, it made us want to move from the U.S. to the English countryside. We plan to return in the coming years and can't say enough wonderful things about our experience. It is a must book! ”
