July 2024Phenomenal property!
I could not have picked a better residence to stay at four a week in old Montreal, one of my favorite cities ever! I’d love the fact that it was built on property that was founded in the 1300s. The buildings were burned down by the British during their squabble with France. So typical. 🙄 😊 Fortunately, the stone walls were left intact and so this residence, which used to be a horse stable has these magnificent walls around the outer walls. The moment you walk in you are greeted with fabulous lighting and art entrances into the dining room, kitchen and living room. The owners have done such a fabulous job and creating a very chill space that has a great feng shui with Buddha statues in the living room and dining room. There are three levels, and I chose to sleep in the first bedroom, which isn’t the master, but It had a very comfortable queen size bed and nice view of the driveway and wrought iron gates that greet you from the street. Also, the person who greeted me at the house, Rowan, was marvelous! He has such a welcoming vibe about him. He spent over half an hour showing me all the amenities and cool places to go. We also chatted about one of my favorite things in the world, mindfulness meditation and gratitude lists. As it turned out, my partner and friends couldn’t make it, which Disappointed me at first, but then, when I got to stay in this place all by myself, I found me not wanting to leave to do a sightseeing or even eat. That’s how special it is. I definitely plan to come back with my partner and friends and let them experience this magical place. I’m blocking on the owner’s names but they’re an adorable couple in their 30s and design the whole place themselves. Thank you kids! Hugs, Joey”

December 2023A gem in the old Montreal
This is a beautiful place in an amazing location. The residence is well appointed with great amenities. The hosts are very responsive and professional. We really enjoyed our stay. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the loud noise coming from the youth hostel next door when their guests are partying (music and shattered glass).”
