Our family getaway home in Santa Cruz is one of the warmest, most comfortable places you will every stay. Never rented, this is a place that couples and families will melt into and love. Four blocks from Seabright Beach, on Seabright Avenue, this 110 year old classic craftsmen house is complemented by a completely new pool cabana and one of the rare pools in the beach areas. Lush landscaping with myriad fruit trees and passionfruit vines make this house one of the nicest places you can land on the California coast. The Seabright neighborhood boasts three of the best restaurants in Santa Cruz (La Posta, Tramonti & Linda’s) plus Verve Coffee roastery, a brewery, climbing gym, Betty Burgers, Java Junction, Day’s Market, etc. all within two blocks of the house. Dine out or order and bring breakfast, lunch or dinner back to the backyard poolside dining area to enjoy the privacy and tranquility. Safeway, Whole Foods & Staff of Life supermarkets are 5 minutes away. Sonos speaker system throughout the property to enjoy your favorite music.
You can walk to either the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk or the harbor in 10 minutes. And the historic downtown area, full of wonderful shops, restaurants and movie theaters is a 20 minute walk, 7 minute bike ride or 4 minute drive away. And get ready for the exciting live music scene (The Catalyst Club, Kuumbwa Jazz Center, Moe’s Alley, Rio Theater, etc.). Hop on the Roaring Camp steam train at the boardwalk and take a picnic into the Coast Redwood forests of the Santa Cruz mountains. We look forward to giving you more suggestions if you want. And our caretaker is available to front load groceries and will handle the cleanup after you leave ($250 required cleaning charge paid directly to her).
