Luxury Estate on York River

This home was fantastic. Everything was top quality with plenty of room for our group of 16 people to spread out and enjoy the beautiful views and the fabulous amenities at this property. Our host, Tom Gillman, was super responsive and very generous in providing us with a fully stocked pantry and access to an incredible selection of wines and spirits. There was plenty to do at the property (swimming, fishing, paddle boarding, arcade games, hot tubbing) as well as in nearby Williamsburg. The game room attracted a lot of attention, with the pinball machine being the best I have ever seen. All in all, a terrific property for a large gathering.”

Heaven on Earth

Where do I begin? We vacationed with our in laws at the house and had an absolutely blissful week filled with fishing, swimming, my kids running feral along the shore looking for critters, incredibly comfortable furniture and beds, and golf cart rides to check out the neighborhood wildlife. It is a truly beautiful house and property hosted by some really wonderful and gracious people. I am so looking forward to returning next year! Beautiful home in gorgeous location

We loved our week on the York River, waking up to stunning views and lots of wildlife. We spent a lot of time relaxing at the pool and the gazebo on the pier, and in the mornings would explore the river in the kayaks and SUPs. Tom was a wonderful host. ”

River Extraordinaire

Location is fantastic on the York River with 180 degree views. House was extremely comfortable, well appointed, high end appliances, linens and fixtures. Proximity to the historical triangle of Jamestown, Williamsburg, Yorktown is great. As well as easy access to Monticello and golf. Onsite really enjoyed making a variety of pizzas in the outdoor oven, pinball, foosball and hot tub! Tom and Cindy are the best with thorough instructions, very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. No significant problems or issues and would welcome the opportunity to return! ”

York River Luxury Estate Dream House

Great house, location, accommodations, service, etc. We could have not asked for anything more. Everything you see in the pictures and description is as advertised. Perfect location for traveling to all the historic towns and sites. We traveled to Williamsburg, Yorktown, and spent most of our days and nights at this beautiful estate. We caught several fish & crabs right off the pier, made pizza at the "shed", boating, swimming, hot tubbing, walking, wildlife sightings on trips with the golf carts just to name a few things available to do. You will not get bored! Amazing hummingbirds on the second-floor porch kept us amazed while enjoying meals and relaxation moments. We highly recommend this Estate, if you have the chance to stay. Tom, the owner, was such a help with anything we needed. Thank you for letting us enjoy and experience such a beautiful home and location. ”

I think it’s easy to see by the photos how nice this property is, but the experience goes far beyond the pictures. Everything about the house is of the highest standard. The kitchen and cooking equipment would thrill a top notch chef. The beds, couches, and chairs all feel brand new. The views from the deck are postcard worthy to say the least. The pavilion is absolutely amazing. I could go on and on about the house, but the best part of the experience are the owners, Tom and Cindy. They make you feel like family by sharing everything the property has to offer. I was overwhelmed by their generosity. I only hope to be able to visit again in the future. ”

Beautiful home and amazing setting!

Our extended family joined us during our stay at this spacious home. With 15 of us there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, but also come together and make memories. The yard, pool, beach, and pier were all wonderful and we spent a lot of time outside. We fished from the pier quite a bit and with the water being brackish caught several types of fish including bass, sting ray, catfish, crabs and gar. The home is close to Williamsburg, Jamestown and other historical areas of interest which we visited. Most of our crew didn't want to leave the home and go explore other places though because it was so nice to relax there. A wonderful place to spend some family time, I hope we have an opportunity to visit again sometime!”
