Camp David

Camp David is in the exclusive Sabi Sand Game Reserve, adjacent to Kruger Park in South Africa.

It consists of 3 bedrooms in the main house, two queen and one kids bedroom with double bunks. It also has two guest cottages and an Au Pairs room. In total, it sleeps up to 14, but the occupancy is limited to 10, as the game drive vehicle can only accommodate ten pax comfortably.

The resort is a 1950 farmhouse conversion with all modern home amenities. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and en-suite - it has a TV lounge and Main Lounge, outdoor lounges, and indoor and outdoor dining. It has a swimming pool and fire pit. The property is entirely off grip, power, water and sewerage. It operates on solar / battery.

The house is fully fenced in an acre of landscaped gardens but traverses over 5,000 hectares of bush. It includes all housekeeping and maintenance staff and a Ranger and Tracker that can take guests on morning and afternoon game drives.

The reserve is home to the Big 5 - Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino and elephant, all of whom, including wild dogs, cheetahs, giraffes and many species of antelope, can often be seen from the front porch.
