July 2025A special place
Staying here made our trip to Iceland really extraordinary. The house is so wonderful. Very warm and cozy, equipped with everything you could ever need (we never found the lids to the pots though 🤣). The location was perfect. Really close to a lot of the major sights and the Capitol, but absolutely quiet and private. Our only neighbors were the ponies out in the field and the crazy birds that would get into a frenzy if you’d get too close to their nests. You even begin to love the wind, the rain and the cold and after a few days you wished you’d be born an Icelander. The hosts were beyond gracious and generous. ”

August 2024Majestic Icelandic Home
We truly loved staying here. Every detail in this exceptional custom built home was perfect, and we were warmly welcomed by the wonderful host. We basked in the tremendous views of the surrounding countryside, enjoyed the hot tub, and enjoyed many wonderful dinners. It was also a short drive away from many of Iceland’s treasures.”

June 2024Outstanding property, great host
An amazing stay in Iceland at an outstanding property! We completely enjoyed the country like setting with beautiful Mountain views plus access to hiking trails and waterfalls within 45 min to an hour. Well situated in Southern Iceland that has access to so many things to do. The house has a wonderful sauna located 20 yards from the main house and a relaxing hot tub. The property also has beautiful Icelandic horses that graze in a large multi acre setting (fenced off from the main house) The house also has the latest Bosch appliances, built-in refrigerator, etc. If you have the chance, we HIGHLY recommend. The owner was very hospitable, gracious and helpful!! Thank- you!!!”
