September 2024Amazing & Artistic House
Looking forward to returning again. This house was incredible and so was our very helpful host Wendy. She has put together a great notebook with everything you need to know about the workings of the house as well as restaurant and site seeing recommendations. The house is very well located near Fisherman’s Wharf and Ghirardelli Square. We enjoyed the views of the bay every morning over coffee and spent time in the tranquil back garden in the evening. The house is beautifully furnished and full of wonderful art work and glass decor. The house is on 3 floors so be prepared, but the climb is definitely worth it for the views. Outside we truly enjoyed our rides up the “Hillavator” to the front door after a long day of sight seeing.”

August 2024Perfection in San Francisco
An incredible house with panoramic views of the bay and Alcatraz. The historic home is beautiful with stunning landscaped gardens at the front and back. A hillevator (aka private cable car) whisks you up and down as needed. The owner was always available as needed and provided very useful info the local area. Very walkable to Fishermans Wharf, Ghirardelli’s Square, North Beach and just minutes from two of the historic cable car routes. Was an amazing stay and would love to come back ”

August 2024This home is absolutely MAGICAL!
We couldn't believe it when our wonderful host Wendy told us that this was their first time hosting. She was so organized with ample information before we arrived. (Yes, we used Waymo driverless cars on her advice and loved it!) Everything is so put together and easy to settle in. The panoramic views from two different levels of the bay were incredible and a great way to enjoy our morning coffee... Alcatraz and Fisherman's Wharf straight ahead, the Golden Gate Bridge off to the left, and the city and Oakland Bridge off to the right. The gardens, fountains and courtyard were way more than "relaxing" can describe. Also, you can't beat the location (Russian Hill I think) with the worlds most crooked street just two blocks away, four blocks from Fishermans Wharf, cable cars a block away, etc etc etc. Thank you Wendy, we are definitely coming back!!”
