September 2024Greatest Location
On mutual agreement, we postponed our Labor Day trip and just completed it mid-April. This historic home is right in the old city center of Annapolis and couldn't be better. We walked to dinner every single night. One place we ate at twice was not even a half block away. The house itself has been carefully restored and is in wonderful condition with some current amenities to go along with the original architecture. The welcome book provided by the hosts is by far and beyond the best we have ever seen. It was nice to stay in a place that people obviously live in with spices and condiments available for those that would like to cook. We made extensive use of the Keurig coffee machine. The bedrooms are all upstairs, three on the second level and two on the third. There is no handicap access if that is important. The welcome book was shared electronically ahead of our stay and warned of the "No Street Parking" situation but pointed to a public parking garage just five minutes away. We did partake in the Naval Academy tour and learned a lot about that institution. We were well informed ahead of time on what to expect and were not disappointed in any way with our stay. The hosts were wonderful to work with. ”

December 2023Large Walkable Downtown Home
We really enjoyed our time at this historic single-family home located in downtown Annapolis. Its location cannot be beaten. You can walk a block or so to the heart of the downtown dock area and its associated shops. The house remains relatively quiet, given its proximity to all "the action." If you plan to stay in the old town part of Annapolis, a car is optional. Street parking is zoned for residence only, but there is a covered pay public parking garage with free car chargers about two blocks from the house. Accessibility to the garage was pretty easy. The photos, especially the front elevation, do not do a great job of demonstrating the size of the home or how big it "lives" with its multiple rooms and high ceilings. We enjoyed the gas fireplaces in the winter. The house has been extensively updated, and the bedrooms and living room area are not "drafty" as most homes that age would be. The home is well-equipped, and the five spacious bedrooms work well for a group of friends or a large family. The owners are pleasant and easy to work with.”
