Peaceful villa

Secluded, beautiful villa with stunning view of the ocean. Very relaxing, luxurious, comfortable and elegant. Pleasant dip pool, wonderful outdoor space. Excellent and friendly staff. We used Nick to drive us around and take us to explore restaurants -- 876-554-4004. Frenchman's Cove and the GeeJam beach are gorgeous and within walking distance. ”

Wonderful Villa — and wonderful people!

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Jamille very much! The house itself is very nice and quickly felt like home. But the Villa staff — especially Clive — made it fantastic! He was warm, thoughtful, caring and ready to help in any way possible. We left feeling that we had made a new friend. This area of Jamaica is remote and a bit difficult to get to (about 3 hour drive from Kingston airport), but the payoff is great beaches, waterfalls, river rafting and amazing jerk chicken, all with only a few tourists and small towns with friendly people. Great trip!”

Truly a Luxury Home and Stay at Villa Jamille

a very private, peaceful home in an upscale community of San San, Jamaica near Port Antonio. the pool, the sauna, all the balconies and decks overlooking the ocean were the best. but Clyve made it an easy, luxurious, pampered stay. he he is your private concierge to arrange rides, make dinner plans, etc. Timmy, the chef, was outstanding and Soldiers Camp and Dickies are two shacks, literally, that have outstanding Jamaican food. the Rio Grande rafting was highlighted by Belinda's wilderness shoreline lunch. do get $200+US of Jamaican dollars and have lots of tipping money. use a driver(Elvis Smith 1-876-776-7146 JUTA approved) from the airport, or fly in closer. we really enjoyed the stay. New Years in Jamaica!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Jamille. After our drive from Kingston (which we do recommend getting a driver if you are unfamiliar with the landscape) we were warmly welcomed by Clyve (House Manager/Butler), Dixon (Gardener), and June (Housekeeper.) We loved ringing in the 2017 at the most gorgeous home. Chef Nigel (Wilke's Cuisine) prepared stunning meals, utilizing local cuisine with a twist (lobster tail to die for!) We loved his cooking so much, we had our last dinner at his restaurant in Port Antonio. Expect great things from Chef Nigel. Nearby, we visited Frenchman's Cove, spending two lovely days on the pristine beach. We took a short trip out to Reach Falls as well as rafting down the Rio Grande. Berger, the most popular man in Port Antonio, was our driver and took great of us! While out and about we stopped for lunch at Woody's and Surviver Beach (both in Port Antonio) as well as Belinda's during our rafting trip on the Rio Grande. We are so grateful to Bev, Rosemarie, Clyve, June, Berger, Dixon, and Nigel. They took great care of us during our stay and we left as friends. Looking forward to going back! Highly recommend! ”

Wonderful Tropical Setting

I'll have to say that I am at a loss for words to describe Villa Jamille. The house was fantastic, Port Antonio is a lovely and interesting place, and the staff was efficient and incredibly friendly. Rose at Gee Jam was very helpful in planning our weeks itinerary and went the extra mile in makeing the Gee Jam facilities available to us. This whole Jamiacan experience was much more than we had anticipated and would advise members to jump on any future Villa Jamille listings. I guarentee you will be happy that you did!!”

away from it all

We invited two other couples to join us at Villa Jamille. The house is located on the quiet and more tropical lush side of the island. (some morning rain) Count on a 3 hour ride from the airport across the island. The house is wonderful but what makes it unforgetable is the staff. Clive, June and Dixon are fantastic. Always a smile, always happy and helpful. The house is located about a 15 minute drive from Port Antonio , which is a true locals town. Don't expect to see throngs of tourists but rather enjoy the music, food and Jamican life style where Jamaicans go to get away from busy Kingston themselves. The WIFI in the house is excellent. The movie room we didn't use since it needs an update and we were not able to hook up any devices but who needs a theater when the view of the ocean and sounds are so spectacular. If you want some real authentic food then try Soldier's camp in town and if you want something more sophisticated you should try Geejam resort. The best beach to swim is San San beach and the blue lagoon is worth the short trip also. Wonderful house but the staff makes it all so much more enjoyable. Thanks again ”

Highly recommend Villa Jamille, a beautiful home in Jamaica, for your next trip. The staff are all smiles and so helpful, from your first cup of coffee in the morning, to closing down the house at night, they do everything! It is a walk to the famous Blue Lagoon and the beaches at Frenchman's Cove. Guests have full access to the Geegam amenities of bar and beach. Very private and relaxing vacation in a slice of paradise. ”

Beyond amazing!

The minute we were flying over the crystal clear water, amazing mountains and admired the breathtaking paradise, I knew that I would have a hard time leaving the island. The warm welcome of the islanders and the staff made me feel home. They bend over backwards for you. From the minute we stepped in, the staff was very hospitable. I believe Butler Clive and June deserve a really good recognition for their outstanding service. Butler Clive was very proactive offering and doing things for us from beginning to end. He understood just what we needed. Everyone was on top of our every need and I did not receive a “No” or “We can’t” answer, everything requested was granted and fulfilled and surpassed our expectations. Excellent customer service. Props for Dixon, the house manager! The villa is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. They offer many kinds of amenities which we got the chance to enjoy. But what really captured my heart was the food, it was beyond AMAZING! Definitely, Chef Chris' cuisine is out of this world...simply fabulous! He was courteous enough to arrange me and my family a beach picnic. As a well-travelled person, I must say that his food is one of the best I’ve tried, the sauces were delightful and the desserts were decadent. I now understand why Villa Jamille has been often recommended to me. Looking forward to returning very soon! ”
