June 2024Beautiful views in the South of France
A beautiful spot in the South of France. Saint Maxime is just across the bay from St. Tropez. The property in on a hillside above town with great views of the Mediterranean. You’ll want a car— parking in town was easy with the public parking spot. We enjoyed the tennis courts. The pool is beautiful but we were there in early June so we didn’t really swim much since I don’t believe it is heated and was still a little chilly for us. We loved our day trip to the village of Gassin and the castle ruins in Grimaud (both very close). The town of Saint Maxime has many restaurants and shops, but a trip by ferry or driving to St, Tropez is quick as well. There are many beautiful hikes in the area. We flew in to Nice and rented a car and then left via train from Nice to Paris. Excellent hosts were very responsive. ”
