September 2025Peace and Tranquility in Camp Ellis
This home was PERFECT for us. It was my aunt, uncle, cousin and myself for this trip. We absolutely loved sitting on the back deck just watching the water, boats, and birds. It was so peaceful. The furniture on the deck was very comfortable. There was a grill available but we didn't use it. Out the front door and less than half a block down is the beach. I watched some of the most beautiful sunrises of my life from this beach. Just a couple tiny blocks away was Huot's which my family all agreed had the best lobster rolls of anywhere we went to between Portland and Ogunquit. The general store was about a block away and the Pistachio muffins were amazing. The furniture inside was so comfortable for us. Everyone could sit comfortably in the living room and everyone slept well in their rooms. The master bathroom is HUGE and my aunt kept saying how much she loved the shower. The other 1.5 bathrooms were sufficient and clean. I slept in the middle bedroom which I absolutely loved. The bed was right next to two large windows. I opened the windows wide up and fell asleep to the sounds of ducks quacking and fish jumping and woke up to the beauty of the sunrise on the boats. It was perfection. The third bedroom was well appointed with bunk beds for maximum sleeping occupancy. The kitchen table was large which was very nice for when I needed to do a little remote working. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need during our stay. The owner Kathleen could not have been more wonderful and communicative. I absolutely would love the opportunity to stay here again. My family agrees. This vacation was perfection. ”

A lovely, well equipped home with beautiful views. The owner is very helpful and responds quickly. Walking to the beach takes only minutes. A special bonus is a nearby store with delicious breakfast sandwiches and lobster rolls. We would love to return!”
