Otter Point is a just completed architected waterfront home that has 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and 4,250 sq. ft. with a 2 car attached garage. (currently only 2 bedrooms available - max 4 adults) Some of the best views and privacy in all of Nanoose Bay. It is situated in an extremely private location being the 2nd last house on a dead end street. Situated on a three quarters of an acre with an acre of forest to the West and the neighbour to the East is in the middle of his 1.5 acre property. Otter Point gets the effective enjoyment and privacy of a 2 acre property.

The property is pie shaped lot with 250 ft of classic BC West Coast rocky oceanfront shoreline, with near 180 degree views of across to the nearby Winchelsea and Ruth Islands as well as fully across the Georgia Strait at the Sunshine Coast mainland and Coastal mountains.

Guests will have their choice of 4 outdoor sitting areas to enjoy the spectacular views of the Salish Sea. A oceans edge sitting patio, a large dining deck off the main living area, and a covered lounge area on the lower level with overhead infrared heaters (should it be a rainy day yet you still want to enjoy the ocean). We believe that our guests will love spending most of their time on the expansive rooftop patio - nestled into the treetops of the properties 200 year old Douglas Fir trees. You will truly feel as though you are sitting in the tree canopy, it is just below our resident Eagle Nest (currently unoccupied)

Inside the large great room / dining area/ kitchen there is a vaulted 15 ft ceiling with overhead timber trusses and South facing clerestory window. The main living area has expansive ocean views through a 20 foot wide window and the large oceanside deck. There is also a wood burning fireplace, a large built in workspace desk area with multi function printer; of course full high speed wifi indoors and out.

High end kitchen appliance package including a Fulgor induction range, Miele fridge and dishwasher. A smaller dual function Frigidaire oven, beverage fridge, microwave, garburator and hot and cold filtered water.

In addition the home is completely outfitted with the full range of quality small appliances to meet every need, latte machine, blender, mixmaster, waffle maker, panini grill, pie maker, air fryer etc.

Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail in our spacious adjoining "morning room" sitting area an 20’ wide glass corner window overlooking the ocean, garden and rocky beach. Completing the main level is a powder room, laundry room and a fully stocked pantry for all your baking and cooking needs, thorough assortment of spices, and utensils and tools for every function and need.

The expansive master bedroom has a king size bed with 24 ft wide floor to ceiling windows overlooking the ocean, forest and property. The large adjoining master bath includes his and her vanities, soaker tub, dual function curbless walk in shower and Toto bidet toilet.

The lower level of the home has a second private queen bedroom also with large corner windows overlooking the property and beach and has a full 3 pc cross hall bathroom with shower. The entertainment area features a large sectional sitting area where you can enjoy your favourite streaming services on the 72” smart TV, pool table/ping pong. Located just outside the lower level is a covered sitting area with overhead infrared heaters and in close proximity to the 6 person Hot Spring salt water hot tub that overlooks the ocean and forest.

Only a 5 minute walk, less than a kilometre, to the Fairwinds Golf Club which has public access. https://fairwinds.ca/golf-club/ If you arrive via boat, It is also only a 2 minute drive to the Schooner Cover Marina. https://fairwinds.ca/marina/ While at the Marina you can enjoy the popular Nanoose Bay Cafe. The nearby Nanoose Community has pickle ball courts, tennis courts and a basketball court.

Respect the local wildlife, we have local otters, deer, eagles, mink, racoons, and a multitude of other birds. No children, no pets, no unregistered guests (max 4 adults - will change to 6 in future). Property is on a septic system so requires respect and some easy to adhere to limitations. Property has many natural and man made hazards and a liability waiver is required.
