October 2025Mykonos hill side villa
The villa itself is beautiful and located on a hill with stunning views over the ocean — the sunsets were truly gorgeous. The beds were comfortable, and the overall setup has great potential. However, our experience was unfortunately affected by several issues. The main problem was the construction noise. The villa is in a newly developing area, and there was heavy drilling and constant truck traffic from early morning onward. We came on this vacation to relax and unwind, but it was impossible to sleep in or enjoy quiet time by the pool. The road runs right above the pool area, so there was no privacy, and the noise was so loud we could barely hear each other talk. We visited in October, when the daytime weather was perfect, but evenings were cool and windy. We had booked a private chef for several nights, but unfortunately, the only dining area is outdoors with no shelter from the wind. It was too cold to dine outside comfortably, so we had to cancel the chef after the first night. This would likely only be a problem in the fall and winter months or when it rains. The area isn’t walkable — the roads are narrow, with lots of construction traffic, so you definitely need a car or driver to get around. There were also some maintenance issues: the window shutters in two bedrooms were broken, and although we reported it immediately, nothing was done during our stay. Finally, the concierge service was disappointing — their rates for excursions, drivers, chefs, and massages were much higher than what we found on our own. Overall, this villa has great potential once the surrounding construction is completed, but for now, it’s not the peaceful retreat we were hoping for. In a few years, it may become a lovely place to stay, but we would not return until the area is fully developed.”

September 2024Beautiful home
We had a pleasant stay at the Lower Mykonos Villa. The house is lovely, pool is great for a quick dip and the view is stunning. While I recognize this is a new property, there could be a few more amenities for guests such as beach chairs, cooler and picnic items. We did not benefit from the cost we paid for the 'concierge' service. A car is a must for this location. ”
