February 2026Great location
This unusual property is walking distance into town, supermarket and the hop on hop off bus. Thanks to available parking we hired a car and were able to make extensive trips around SE Tasmania. It is a quirky, cosy cottage. Don't expect a chef's kitchen, en suite bathroom, tumble dryer, dining table or wifi. Do expect an abundance of curiosities to look at, plenty of tourist information and beautiful photo books of Tasmania, a sunny courtyard for breakfast and responsive heating for the chilly nights. Beds are comfortable with lovely linens. We enjoyed recognising some of the vintage china from our own grandparents' kitchens in England.”
