- Fishing: Enjoy fishing in the nearby rivers and high-altitude lakes on Mount Kenya. This can be done by helicopter through a company called Africa Heli Adventures.
- Guided Nature Walks: 25 minutes from the house is a canopy walk, and the blue pools. A series of waterfalls you can jump off. Great spot for a picnic
- Golfing: If you enjoy golf, there are 2 golf courses in Nanyuki.
- Buffalo springs: A natural spring in Buffalo springs national reserve. Good for a day trip

- Mount Kenya National Park: Just a short drive from Timau, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is renowned for its stunning peaks, alpine meadows, and diverse wildlife.
- Ol Pejeta Conservancy: Located not far from Nanyuki, this conservancy is known for its efforts in wildlife conservation.
- Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary: Situated within Ol Pejeta Conservancy, this sanctuary provides a haven for rescued chimpanzees.
- Nanyuki Equator Marker: Nanyuki is located on the Equator, and there are several spots where you can see the Equator line marked.
- Solio Game Reserve: A private reserve near Nanyuki, known for its rhino conservation efforts.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable property and was thoroughly impressed. From the outset, the professionalism of the staff was evident – attentive without ever being intrusive, and consistently discreet in ensuring need were met with quiet efficiency. The food was a particular highlight. Each meal was prepared with evident care and skill, combining flavours with a sense of ease and elegance that made every course a delight. The interior design has strikes a tasteful balance between timeless luxury and understated charm, creating an atmosphere that was both welcoming and refined. Every detail appeared thoughtfully considered, from the choice of furnishings to the subtle use of colour and light. We loved the dogs and the fact they joined us for walks and runs. The nearby Ol Pejta Conservancy was abundant with wildlife and an easy night away from the house. I would not hesitate to recommend Sienna's house. ”
