September 2025Comfortable Boat and Great Views of Amalfi Coast
This is a comfortable catamaran - there were only 4 of us using the 4 king staterooms, so that was nice to not be crowded. It’s well-equipped and the location is wonderful. The owner of the boat is great - we met him the first night. I think sometimes the owner crews and sometimes he has a hired captain. We had the hired captain, who didn’t speak great English (and we speak very little Italian). Fortunately we had a 2nd crew who did speak good English and was very helpful. We sailed less than we would have liked to — partially because of the seas, partially because the captain was nervous that we wouldn’t make our destinations in time during daylight. I should say that 2 of the 4 of us are experienced sailors and have chartered boats in the Caribbean. Overall communication with the owner could have been better the day we were to pick up the boat, and we were surprised by the mooring and docking fees. We were planning on 100 euros per night for mooring fees (Caribbean is generally about $50 per night). The fees ranged from 130 euros at Positano to 430 at Capri, with the average around 275 per night. If you’re charted in the Caribbean or other parts of Europe, plan on much higher fees that you’ve paid before. Overall, this was a good trip - more expensive than we planned because of the high mooring fees — but the views and experience of the Amalfi coast and Ischia were fantastic.”

May 2025Fantastic Sailing the Amalfi Coast
Captain Alessandro is not only a skilled Captain but an incredible chef. He tailored an itinerary to the ports we wanted to see. He made arrangements for dives, snorkels, and shopping. He and Erica the skipper/housekeeper/cook were a wonderful team, - respectful, beautifully serving but respecting our time to create memories. We had a magnificent time sailing the Amalfi that we will never forget - thank you for a five star vacation! We loved every minute. Grazie Alessandro! ”
