Description

Cruz Bay Oasis

Enjoy our stunning residence overlooking Cruz Bay on St John in the US Virgin Islands. With spectacular views of Cruz Bay, Pillsbury Sound and sunsets over St. Thomas you can relax in our two bedroom (king beds), 2½ bath residence with a fully equipped kitchen, beautiful furnishings and artwork, cathedral ceilings and a wraparound deck.

We are part of a gated development consisting of twelve buildings including the club house with an exercise room, bistro, and pool. The community is modeled after the architecture on the Amalfi Coast. Each building has two residences, upper and lower, (ours is upper). Private parking for one vehicle is in front of our entrance. No smoking and not recommended for babies or toddlers.

You are a five minute drive from shopping & restaurants in Cruz Bay, ten to twenty minute drive to North Shore beaches – Caneel Bay, Hawksnest, Trunk Bay, Cinnamon Bay, and Maho Bay.

St John is the smallest and least developed of the three main US Virgin Islands at just under 20 square miles. Located just 4 miles east of St Thomas, there are no airports so access is only by boat. Frequent ferries from St Thomas service Cruz Bay, the main port town on the island.

Unspoiled and laid-back, fewer than 5,000 people call St John their home and most of the island is a National Park.

Cruz Bay has many great restaurants, relaxed beach bars, and shopping, featuring local artisans at Mongoose Junction, the Marketplace, and Wharfside Village.

Breathtaking Views

Quite possibly one of the nicest place to stay in Cruz Bay! The views are fantastic, amenities were grand, the size of the unit is very comfortable and, most importantly, the hosts - Jay and Peg - are very accommodating. They provided beach chairs and towels for our island exploring. Luckily, they even provided sunglasses as I accidently damaged my husband's getting in and out of the jeep we rented, which we highly recommend, by the way. Shorty, their maintenance man, was always around for any questions which made our vacation even nicer. Thumbs up for this 3rd Home stay!!”

What a view!! What an island!

Wow, we were blown away by the view! Not to mention the complex and the unit itself! We were met by the manager, Felix, as we arrived and he showed us around and introduced us to the head maintainence man, Paulie, who was ready to help out with any situation. The unit was very well appointed and the welcome booklet contained everything you would ever want to know about what to do on the island. Many thanks to Jay & Peggy for allowing us to stay in their St. John home we really appreciate it !! Rusty & Lisa ”

View come true

Wow, what a beautiful place. My wife and I just returned and cannot wait to go back. Jay was a great host and gave us all the information that we needed to experience SJ. The virgin islands have the best beaches of any place we have ever visited. Not the easiest place to get to but that is part of the fun. We would highly recommend. Steve and carol Ruckart June 2015”
