September 2026Just perfect for us
An ideal stay for us at the Cottage, which is all you want and need in a home for a couple or small group/family. Nice kitchen area with good sleeping options and common areas and good workspace from the small dining area when not otherwise in use. Also lovely outdoor space and deck. Note that this is not right downtown in East Hampton or right by the ocean if that is what you are looking for. Much calmer part of the Hamptons in what is actually the village of Springs within the broader town of East Hampton. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with walks to the water and short drives to much else, including amazing nature preserves alongside the neighboring towns. No downtown at all in Springs but plenty of small shops and markets and restaurants along the roads and no more than 10-15 minutes into the larger towns by car. Plenty of history in area as well per famous artists who made this lovely area their home and subject matter. Hope to return”

May 2026Beautiful cottage
Ellie’s cottage was so quaint and lovely inside. It is well appointed and had everything we needed. Communication with Ellie was excellent. Location is good. We enjoyed our stay at Ellie’s cottage and East Hampton visit very much. I would not hesitate recommending this Third Home. ”

September 2025Relaxing stay at a lovely comfortable East Hampton home
We had a lovely time there in this cottage in the woods. It is a short walk to the water and Boswicks Seafood restaurant. Great place to have dinner and/or drinks and watch the sun set over the water. The home beautifully maintained, quiet and well appointed, easy drive into Amagansett or East Hampton. A beautiful neighborhood to walk in. We saw deer, wild turkeys,' blue jays and cardinals. We will be back! ”
