Our stay at Spruce Peak was perfect! Ann & Tom didn't miss anything - their home is gorgeous and well appointed! The gourmet kitchen is any chefs dream, there are multiple fireplaces, a wonderful familyroom and too many things to mention! The view was spectacular of the mountains and we got treated to 2 fireworks shows right from the back yard. The Resort is lovely and quaint with some shopping, good food and a great Spa. Our 7 year old sons went the their Adventure Camp and had a blast hiking, rock climbing, playing tennis and swimming in the river. It was a perfect 2 weeks and our family made many memories (and a new favorite spot!). Thank you Ann & Tom for being wonderful hosts and sharing your home with us!!!!!!!”
If you don't know Stowe, you might not know that this house is slopeside in the new development right at the resort-- a truly exceptional location, given that it is also very private and has beautiful views. The house is maintained to a five-star hotel level of comfort, and it is elegantly furnished and well appointed. The hosts are helpful and friendly and checked in several times during our stay. We were there in summer and found the village to be charming and not overcrowded, with plenty to do nearby, including some great short hikes to waterfalls. Or you might end up preferring to relax at the house since it's so gorgeous! Don't hesitate-- this will be an unforgettable week for you! ”
Fabulously beautifully appointed home!
This home is beautiful and equipped to the max...top of the line Viking appliances, and yummy sheets and towels! The host, Ann, was so gracious and checked in on us via email during the week. It is close to many great restaurants, and a nice Wine&Cheese shop is also nearby. There are plenty of walking and hiking trails. The golf course on property is spectacular and difficult. We also played the public course in Stowe. It is close to Burlington which is a nice day trip and boat tour on Lake Champlain. We also took a day trip to Montreal (only a 2 hour drive away)! This property is highly recommended. It must be really spectacular during ski season!”
Superb property , gracious hosts
Our family enjoyed a splendid stay at Spruce Peak. The home has spectacular mountain views and is replete with resort -level amenities. Ann and Tom are most gracious hosts and brownie aficionados !”
We had a wonderful and relaxing time at Spruce Peak in Stowe Vermont. The owners could not have been more accommodating and gracious. Their home is absolutely beautiful with everything one could imagine. The town of Stowe in nestled In the shadow of Mount Mansfield and is stunning in summer as I am sure it is in the fall and winter. Thank you again Ann for your hospitality. Cecilia Kempton”
