June 2018French Farmhouse Perfection
We loved everything about Catherine’s beautiful home in Arcangues. The place was huge! Much larger than the pictures suggested, and the extensive grounds were simply stunning. We enjoyed walks through the village, day trips to Biarritz and St Jean de Luz but were equally happy staying at “home” and making use of the excellent kitchen and choice of stylish dinner tables! We enjoyed hot sunny weather and the pool was a great addition. We also loved the card table and comfortable lounge area - again all super stylish. One highlight of our week was a fabulous lunch at the Michelin starred L’Atelier Gaztelur - only a 3 minute drive away. Catherine could not have been a more helpful or charming host and was discreet yet on hand if we needed anything - especially when our poor French let us down :) We would love to return to this lovely home in a picturesque pocket of France and would highly recommend to anyone considering this property. ”

June 2017Basque Idyll
This is a well appointed large family home which is ideal for family or friends to spend time together relaxing in a beautiful part of France. We loved the kitchen facilities, the outdoor cooking area by the pool and enjoyed playing cards at the formal card table with the fire blazing in the grate. We fed the red squirrels every day when they visited the garden patio and relaxed in the peaceful garden. The house is only a short drive from traditional French bakers, fruit and vegetable store, butchers, fishmongers, fantastic cheese shops and a good supermarket. Biarritz is only a short drive away with many great restaurants in the surrounding area. On four days we drove the 1.5 hours to San Sebastien in Spain to eat lunches at their famous Michelin star restaurants. We would definitely be pleased to return some day.”

May 2017A wonderful secluded stay in Arcangues
Catherine is a warm charming opened top class host ...very dedicated to our well, being - ARCANGUES is The residential Area of Biarritz- hosting the very difficult golf of ARCANGUES -quite a challenge! Her house is a typical " BASQUE HOME" will all modern amenities and Comfort of very high French standard and decoration- in a parcel of around 109160 square feet ( 10.000 m2) congratulations! we were 8 and each couple had a beautiful large room and personal bathroom all decorated in different style and different color- no surprise--catherine was a Decorator herself in Paris! the pool is just the right size- we enjoyed watching the squirrels coming every morning at the kitchen door looking for nuts- and once we could even see a young deer cross the garden! we could rest and visit the rich region of the PAYS BASQUE AND the Pyrennées mountains ... gorgeous villages like Ascain,, ESPELETTE -the Compostelle pilgrims village of St jean pied de port- and buy exquisite cheeses and ham at the market on Monday morning The Basque region is one of the wealthiest region in France-- a different style from the Cote d'Azur...so "bling bling" we definitely recommend this property solange and jean françois STEVENET PARIS AND MORROCCO ”
