Lovely Stay in Iceland

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this Penthouse. It was beautifully furnished and very conveniently located to all the downtown attractions. It was spacious and suited our party of four wonderfully (though one bathroom could be tricky at times). It was such a pleasure to work with Pink Iceland travel services and it made our planning more enjoyable. Just a note for other travels: this apartment has a fridge but not a freezer. We did not know this ahead of our grocery trip. We did find ourselves eating the ice cream that we had purchased immediately (not necessarily a bad thing ;).”

Beautiful light filled Penthouse in the Centre of Reykjavik

We had a fantastic week in Reykjavik exploring the countryside, thermal baths and Reykjavík city Centre. Hannes beautiful penthouse was the perfect location as our base. It was incredibly light, spacious with a very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a great sunny balcony overlooking Reykjavík Centre. Hannes was the perfect host with great restaurant recommendations, comprehensive notes and even a lift and warm welcome when we arrived from the central bus station.”

Great location apartment

A well appointed appointment in a very central location including car parking. Note that second bedroom has a sofa bed however it was comfortable. The deck was overgrown with weeds and the BBQ was not clean or ready for use. There are also a large number of personal items in the apartment giving the impression the owner lived there. Underfloor heating was difficult to use. With a few tweaks and attention this would get 5 stars.”

Great Property In The Heart Of Reykjavik!

First off I would like to say that Birna and Hannes were fantastic Hosts, easy to communicate with and had so many wonderful recommendations. The property is well kept and had everything we needed with a great view of Hallgrimskirkja. The location is amazing as you are within walking distance to all the best shopping and dining in the city. Also you might not know that you have to pay to park just about anywhere in Reykjavik but this property comes with a dedicated parking spot, free of charge, in a private parking garage under the building which was a HUGE bonus! Our time in Iceland was an absolute dream. We explored many waterfalls, hiked glaciers, saw the beautiful black sand beaches in Vik, took a SuperJeep Tour through Thorsmork and even made it all the way to Diamond Beach. The property was a great home base for our adventures and we fell madly in love with Iceland. Would definitely recommend this property for a small group and we absolutely plan to return one day.
