September 2025Great Property and Location
We stayed here in October 2025 with family. Great property and location. You can walk to the beach and close to Corolla, Duck and Kitty Hawk. Would definitely recommend this property for a family or friends vacation. TONS of space. ”

June 2025Great vibe, but...
This was our first ThirdHome stay, so I have nothing to compare it to. The location of the property, and the vibe of Corolla Beach is terrific, no doubt. The property is large and promises much, especially for a large group of family and friends. We were just five adults and a one-year old. We had been contacted by Property Mgmt Co. A and given the entry code - no other messages. Arrived to see Property Mgmt. Co. B's name everywhere in the property. There were no consumables at all on site - no dish soap, no hand soap, no paper towels, no toilet paper. Shortly after arrival, we noticed a water leak from the ceiling of the lower level. Then the fire alarm started to go off randomly. Emailed Propery Mgmt. Co. A. (no phone number) - no response. Called Proptery Mgmt Co. B. who had no idea we were there and forwarded a welcome packet that clearly states that the renter is responsible for ALL consumables. Send a nice fellow out to check the leak. He said he'd need to get someone out to the property for that. Also told me that the fire alarm was going off because of "humidity" and there was nothing to do about it. Never saw another person from PMCo. B and that fire alarm went off night and day, as many as seven times in an hour one night between 2am and 3am. I've been traveling for a long time... I have never entered a property where the renter was responsible for all consumables (maybe this is a thing in OBX), but I would have expected more from a ThirdHome property. Of course the water leak and the fire alarm issues were much more onerous and certainly detracted from what otherwise was a great week. Is this what one should expect from a ThirdHome property. I guarantee you it isn't what someone will experience when they visit my property.”
